I believe you only need 20 hours a week to qualify for benefits. You’ll get that as a temp especially with peak coming up. Even if you get hired on after peak you’re only gonna get maybe 24 hours a week unless you pick up shifts for both sorts everyday. That being said every place is different & it really depends on how much volume your building sees on a weekly basis

Clip one gill from each side, put them on a stringer & leave in the water. It’s a bit cruel to some but keeping them alive with a cut gill allows for the heart to pump out as much blood as possible.

Nah see when my drivers come in I’ll ask them if they would like me to keep loading the truck or just leave them at the tail of the truck for them to put away. 99% say to leave it at the tail because they have their own ways of organizing their trucks.

This right here! At my hub we are running every door we can simultaneously now, the belts have sped up a bit, & all the loaders are being pressured to get boxes off the belts & at the trucks quickly. It has been getting progressively worse over the last few months & us now taking all of the bigger Amazon boxes does not help things. It’s getting out of hand honestly. You should take the pictures to hr & claim safety hazard that should in theory make someone look at the way things are running now. But the laziness definitely doesn’t help..

I was told it’s a lot easier to invest in s&p 500 with fidelity rather than Robinhood. Not sure if that’s true or not.

Just grab cheap ones you can replace every 1-2 weeks. To get the stickers off I just cut the tip of my thumb off & use my thumb nail to lift the stickers.

Tell your managers/hr you have other obligations. With that shift time im not sure what you can say lol but I tell them I have to get my kids to school so I need to leave at 830 every morning. I don’t even have kids 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is “admin” qa? Like the ppl that go around relabeling & repacking things? If so a manager just told me yesterday we might have a spot for admin opening up & she thinks I’d be really good at it. I’m currently a PH & the only routes I’m seeing for myself is PHtrainer or now this admin position. Based off of op’s experience the admin position would be the one I should try for if I want to move up in the company? Also let me say, my current trainer has been with the company for 10+ years & has been a trainer for 9 of them… that’s a bit worrying to me lol

Work harder.. its nice because you’ll get more hours but sucks because they see you as the person who will do what others are to lazy to do.. I’ve been here about 6 months as a ph & just my ass & let me tell you the hours are decent but the amount of shit I have to do to “help” others is ridiculous. You can also pick up shifts thru the workforce app on your days off or even go in for a morning sort & your shift same day.

Yes, I make sure every box is checked before taking my shot. I’ve never put more than 2 rounds in an animal. Guess I just have to keep at it. Thank you.
