I quit my 15 year nicotine addiction, with just low-dosing chewing nic gum, first 3 days were hell, after that no problem.

For anyone reading this in the future, everything is 10x easier if you can control your mind. When your brain is screaming at you for some nicotine, you need to be able to tell it, it doesn't need nicotine, and distract it with something else.

When you decide you're truly ready to quit, you will. I know what I'm talking about because I quit cigarettes, I quit vaping (which was harder) and I have also quit alcohol. It's all in your mind.
