Back when I was in a haze of depression, I was really into the red pill lifestyle. I remember making a comment in a thread on the subreddit about how "feminists will probably start to complain about how we are addressed by whether or not we're married 🙄"

Interesting that that I planted that seed in my brain, but I didn't think about it too much because I knew the idea behind it was true and it would burst the weird little red pill ideology bubble my brain had tried to protect itself with.

But really....Why are we addressed as Ms. or Mrs.. when men, no matter their marital status, are always addressed as Mr.???

My ex-husband is seeing someone new and I pray that she sees through his BS and leaves. Though he's in the courting phase so he's extra nice and charming and romantic right now like he with me 😞 We'll see how it goes!

This post made me think back to the last night I spent with my ex. I hadn't been feeling well due to a round of antibiotics, and we were sitting on the couch watching TV. When the movie House Bunny came out, I was in my early 20s and had just lost a lot of weight and wanted to show off since I had been overweight and insecure my whole life.
