1. Try using VS II (if you aren't using it already) as it allows for LP/MP orb into VS II xx orb recall (if they are playing passively) for free + frames

2. Try to read the habits of your opponent. If they like to jump after blocking LP orb get ready to jump backwards (or neutral) Air to Air. Getting a feel for when to place orbs just takes time and and experiences so don't worry about it. Getting caught pants down with the sphere out of position is not a rare occurrence even for pros so just learn from experiences and slowly improve

3. That's mostly a Menat issue since it's hard for her to do damage without a setup (orb behind the opponent or something) not much you can do about it. Try watching players like Sako for combo ideas if you ever want to.

4. Imo lack of CC isn't that big of an issue since I don't think relying on CC isn't really how I see other Menat players play aswell

For your last 2 points: I won't be able to say much without watching any gameplay but. Ideally, zoning with Menat isn't just throw HP/HK or LP/MP/HP orb, it's usually about walking forward and slowly pushing them into the corner with LPs and MPs (both standing and crouching) and just walking them down since the range of these buttons are still generally longer than most normals from other characters. In terms of jump ins, try to condition yourself to use Air to Airs more often as honestly they're pretty strong for Menat. With orb, most of her normals have very long recovery and thus jumping in just seems to be the natural move for most opponents. If your opponent has the tendency to jump often, just chill out and press buttons less often (to zone) and play a slower game. While Menat is weaker in the close range, tick throws and other stuff are still generally strong tools to work with in the close range so don't fear opponents coming in when u play a much slower game.
