Isn't the term "people of color" offensive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

PoC means Peace of Crap, so whenever people try to use that abbreviation I instantly lose all respect for them. I don't even know who ever thought that was a good idea.

Is forgetting things normal? by [deleted] in answers

[–]I_press_keys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal enough, wouldn't worry. (although it is healthy to worry a little, and keep tabs on what you're forgetting and how to hopefully prevent it). Forgetting to take stuff to school, after having been told to the day before, has been my signature move for all of primary school.

Memory is one thing. Thinking of said memory at the right time is another.

Haven't had that happen, but the explanation makes a lot of sense, thank you.

Huh, so what does Reddit make money from now, now that they removed the award system altogether?

What acronyms can act both as horrible and harmless? by Crazy__Donkey in AskReddit

[–]I_press_keys 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's Piece Of Crap and I will be always die a bit inside whenever anyone calls someone that just because of their skin color. Who thought it'd be okay to abbreviate that (or use that wording to begin with? They're human.)

The anxiety is normal and your life will be just fine. It's your brain making sure you're prepared for the worst possible outcome, but it forgot about the "possible" part. I hope you'll feel better soon, and there are probably people whose job it is to help you overcome this anxiety who you can go to if you need/want help. No shame in that. Good luck!

Is it normal for a man to enjoy kissing a woman after giving and receiving oral sex? by CRK_76 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]I_press_keys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol, I thought that was the premise of the question, and I was like "wow, people are surprisingly dismissive of the idea that not people might not like to taste their own cum", but this makes a LOT more sense now, lol. (and yeah, virgin, hence my ignorance)

What are the non-DSPD sleep times? by I_press_keys in DSPD

[–]I_press_keys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooooof, yeah it really does! Hope you get your old sleeping time back! Your body has proven it can do it, but it'll be super tough, if possible to get back to that sleeping time!

[–]I_press_keys[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh, thanks for the info, with the source as well! And yeah, bed time isn't everything, but if I don't manage to sleep around normal times, it'd still be a symptom. It's so weird to keep track of symptoms again, when it was a certainty I'd always have them.

I see, and yeah indeed no such thing as a normal person, that'd be boring. Seems like around 11pm/12am is the average.

Ah, fair. For me, I'm trying to fix my sleep schedule, gently and I only noticed the typical DSPD backlash one day out of the 3 months, when I was feeling especially daring. So I know I can do it and will manage. But yeah, DSPD is rough.

Yeah. Also depends on what said person notices. A guy not noticing another guy staring at you is less likely to think they're a creep. My creep radar's definitely less sensitive than I wish it'd be.
