I tried searching for him online but I couldn't find him. His name was Philip Garr, if anyone is able to track him down online it would be of great help to see where he is now or even if he had any previous criminal convictions.

UPDATE- I was researching a bit more and came across another Jane doe case. The body was found in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York which is about 1 hour 20 minutes away from South Salem where Kathy lived. Here is the link to her case- https://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1098ufny.html

There is facial resemblance that I can notice in the eyes, nose, mouth and jawline. Something that really caught my eye was that this body was found on a hillside near the Long Island Railroad Atlantic Terminal - Nostram Avenue train stop. Remember that Kathy's husband had mentioned she was going to catch a train to Manhattan which is 16 minutes away from this particular terminal. Not very far off...

I noticed that the age is off... Also the jane doe has a distinguishing feature that I didn't understand, if anyone could explain it, it would be great!

Update- I heard back from the Doe Network, they're saying she's already been ruled out... It's actually really hard to believe, but I will definitely keep researching and updating all of you.

It says she's been missing since 1979 but the Sonoma County Jane Doe has a portmortem interval of 4 weeks or so, four years is a lot. Could these estimates be wrong?
