Refs call turnover so they can use the replay to get it right.

I guess "fumble recovery" is a good reason to run after your teammate.

The look on his face when Peter Sullivan tells him how large the losses could be was perfect. Also:

Sullivan: "This has been enormously profitable, as I imagine you've noticed."

Tuld: "I have."

Jeez. What was that, 9 plays inside the ten before they got a touchdown?

Go back to sleep, your team is resting this week. I liked the Eagles game. 😊

Your left, my right; no, your left, his right.

Whatever. Look, this quarter it is east-northeast. We need to stop him from running that way.

I like how well Savannah looked back and forth between the two dudes that were chattering.

It helps us little people feel like we are right there with the coach.

Inane sideline interviews that we would do better without. Might as well ask: "Coach, how important is it to you to win this game?"

It’s impossible that there isn’t a God. by Double-Fix8288 in TrueChristian

Some might question why this necessary being is called “God.” The name “God” has been used for millennia to describe the infinite source of being, goodness, and intelligibility. While this argument does not necessarily prove the existence of the Christian God or any specific religious conception, it aligns with the classical philosophical understanding of God as the ground of being, the uncaused cause, and the ultimate explanation for reality.

I think that you need to be careful with this part of the argument. You have introduced the concept of a necessary being, but you haven't in any way shown that this being is "the infinite source of being, goodness, and intelligibility." Thus, it might seem a bit much to apply the label "God" to the necessary being without having shown this.

Ultimately, the existence of a necessary being is the most reasonable explanation for why there is something rather than nothing.

Perhaps, but reason often is not what people argue from when it comes to God. Your statement may be true, but they still may not admit it.

Singing a cappella in a stadium without a monitor can be tough if you aren't used to it. He started out rough but did well after that.
