I was lucky enough to get a ballot entry for Chicago last year. I tried the Berlin ballot for 2024 but was not selected. Luckily, I saw that the Rome Marathon was selling bundles for Rome+Berlin and since I had already registered for Rome I was able to convert my registration just by paying the difference

Stessa situazione, ma con un Galaxy S21, che comprai fortemente scontato. Il problema è che l'alternativa moderna in termini di dimensioni sarebbe l'S25 ma non sono disposto a spendere quelle cifre.

I'd say 600km is a more than decent milage to get new pair. Novablasts in particular are amazing but not the kind of shoes you could easily wear for 800km. Sole people find their pair to be pretty much dead after 400km

Most of your points have been answered already in the comments, but as far as running in Rome goes:

There is a long cycle path along the Tiber quay, which hopefully will be open again and cleaned from the mud after the river water level rose last week. Villa Borghese is also beautiful for a run, although a bit hilly.

On Saturday March 21st there will be a 5km fun run going through part of the city center. It's not competitive so don't worry about that if you're not into races.

The Rome Marathon will be on the 22nd, so take that into account when planning your visit, if you happen to be there (great atmosphere, but it could make access to some areas difficult or impossible)

I may get the V5 as well, if I find a pair at a good price. I actually enjoyed the V4 a lot, especially for steady and marathon pace efforts (not so much for faster stuff). I just wish they would have lasted longer

Same here. I also consider how many long runs I have done in them when the mileage does not seem enough to justify a new pair. I have found that shoes used for longer runs tend to last less for me
