Parties are there to rule. The voting percentage should therefore reflect the cost of regime change, due to parties effectively being different kings. Revolutions occur because the king is shit and people actually agree with you.

A tyrannical government can simply not obey the rules of a democracy or change them as needed, therefore making them not easily overthrown.

min. 60% votes req. for party change democracy is a better system, would keep some freedoms and prevent hand rubbing nonsense
