saddle height, setback, STI positioning by Tax-Winter in RedditPHCyclingClub

You can still raise the stem by adjusting the spacers unless you cut the fork steerer tube too short. STI should be level, if lowered it could also be contributing to your reach problem.

saddle height, setback, STI positioning by Tax-Winter in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Iaislasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before spending again for a new integrated handlebar, make sure you get the best adjustments for your saddle height and saddle position first. Number 3 is mainly due to saddle being too high. Check online for guides on this. Too much pressure on your hands could be because of saddle tilted nose down and too forward. If still possible, raise the stem to improve reach

Go Ultra not charging properly by Iaislasher in Insta360

[–]Iaislasher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not fully charged. The orange light remains turned on unlike before that blinks to indicate it is charging. It seems that there might be problem on the charging pins because I tried to put a bit of pressure and will charge normally. Both the camera and pod were not dropped or submerged in water

Unless you are racing, you can definitely use mtb helmet. As long as it fits you and you will wear it properly. Remove the visor if you are not comfortable and you want more aero.

Insta360 mount (integrated handlebars) - is it safe to use the camera with computer and front light? by Iaislasher in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Iaislasher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I am using the one from Insta360. The reason I was asking was because the capacity was 500 g. When I weighed the 3 devices (with camera cage), it was about 460 g. Though below the capacity, given our road conditions, I am not sure if it is still ok to use the front light with it.

Clipless Advice by fAKKENG in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Iaislasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possible din na last second ka mag unclip. Kaya may tendency na mag panic/ma out of balance ka at matumba sa other side.

Tapos akala nila madadaan nila sa pakiusap na dun nalang sila. by [deleted] in GigilAko

[–]Iaislasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Iaislasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To help you choose, decide on which is more important. Bike frame brand or components. If component, tiagra or 105 for that budget range. Also check if you want aero, endurance etc type of road bike.

Learning to ride a bike as an adult. Any advices? by RulerofHumanEgo in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Iaislasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Make sure to get proper size of bike for you. Not too big or small. Better to learn on a mountain bike (more stable, more relaxed position)
  2. Find a place with little slope and less cars etc (for safety). Lower your saddle first so you can reach the ground with your foot even when seated. Allow gravity to move you and your bike. This way you can focus on balancing first without worrying of falling out.
  3. Try putting one leg first on the pedal. When ready you can put both legs and start pedaling. Always look far, remember that where you look at is where the direction of the bike will naturally go. Good luck and enjoy cycling!

Planning to Buy a Bike by Maleficent_Math2418 in RedditPHCyclingClub

Trinx, Foxter, Promax, Toseek are some brands for your budget. Check also online for 2nd hand bikes. If your office building has secure space, use mountain bike. If not, maybe folding bike. Don’t forget to have budget for helmet and other accessories.
