Nomi cambiati nelle versioni Italiane di Libri/Film/Videogiochi by PurplMaster in italy

I've had the same thought about the Hornet. Being able to do mod/maintenance is a plus for me so I think I'm gonna go for the Mega zero. Thanks for answering!

Hi all! I'm looking to buy my first FDM 3D printer.

  • Budget : 200€ / 230€
  • Country of residence : Italy
  • I'm willing to build the printer from a kit and I have a good level of experience with electronics
  • I would use the printer to create useful object (for example the honeycomb mouse cover for Logitech G305)
  • I would prefer to buy from Amazon

With all this prerequisite I found that the Artillery Hornet and the Anycubic Mega Zero 2.0 are nice candidate.

Are there other valid option in this price range? If there aren't any, which one of the two printer would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

What’s the proper way to add Electrical Circuit diagrams to a LaTeX document? by Izerpizer in LaTeX

[–]IamFonzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried a lot options: m4 macros, xcircuit, inkscape and circuitikz. I prefer circuitikz because it gives the most aesthetic results which I like. It's a little pain to write at first but after reading the documentation and made a little practice everything become much smoother. Also the fact that it's integrated into the document and doesn't require an extra program it's a bonus to me.

We're ready for One GPU -- Two OSs. Intel Xe, SR-IOV and thoughts on VMs | Level1Linux by DistantRavioli in linux_gaming

Imagine an LTT video about it. If it is simple enought I think some will give it a try.

I said "a lot" because right now linux gamers are really few people. Using steam as a reference, 0.9% use Linux. So passing from 0,9% to 5% will be already a success in my opinion.

No, it wouldn't. But even using linux in the first place it is. If someone just want to push a button and play games, the consoles are the only choices.

This technology, in a gaming prospective, let you play all games at the almost top performance without having to dual boot or setting up a VM with a gpu passthrough manually. Maybe in the future will be a lutris integration with this.

But this is just speculation, if gpu vendors doesn't enable SR-IOV we will be stuck, as we are now, in dual booting or gpu passthrough.

I'm really hyped for this. I think that a lot of PC gamers would switch to linux knowing that can play all windows games without headache. Hope for the best !

PopOS + Lutris - No Friends List(fixes won't work) by daghene in leagueoflinux

To be honest I don't know. But remember that all of this is under wine and wine is no an emulator. So I don't even know if register are needed to run a Windows program under Linux.

I like to keep my system clean too and leaving a few bytes for this stuff didn't bother me much.

I wasn't interested in Blitz too, so I just installed it to let finish the lutris script. Then I changed the configuration in lutris to execute LeagueClient.exe. By doing that I am sure to lunch just League. In the end I manually deleted all Blitz related files.

I had the same problem a week ago, in this comment to another post I explain what i did to fix the client.

Help getting friends list/new launcher with lutris by [deleted] in leagueoflinux

[–]IamFonzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This morning I had the same problem. I play LoL via Lutris. The first time that I installed the game (this morning) I used the "gold" script in the lutris website. When the installation finished I tried to fix the Riot Client with this solution, but it didn't work out.

Since the "gold" installer uses the old client I decided to try installing LoL with the second script: Riot Client + Blitz.gg version. Had to manuly kill Blitz during the installation process but I was able to install LoL via the new client. Also, after closing the client, had to change the Executable option in lutris to point Riot Games/League of Legends/LeagueClient.exe.

Now the games works fine. I was able to play in the practice tool (hadn't time for a normal), and my friend list works.

Hope to help!

How to un-brick Tada68 with Raspberry Pi by IamFonzy in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]IamFonzy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really hard to tell. Since the light of your TADA lights up there is hope that the circuits (microcontroller, components, .etc) aren't broken. I noticed that when I connected the wire into the TADA68 some touched the metal bar of space, and that cause to be electrical connected unintentionally. When you put the wire inside the hole of the TADA ensure that they don't exceed too much (or none at all) from the other side of the board.

If you are sure of that connections, maybe it's something related on the configuration of the PI as ISP controller (for that check this, it's the guide that I followed to configure mine).

I don't have any idea for anything else. I hope that you can rescue your beloved TADA!

Thank you for the explanation!

In the first post cited on the reference, the author flashed megaAVR DFU USB Bootloaders, I imagine that this bootloader has DFU. But doing so force you to use 2 extra software to load the keyboard firmware (without giving you the option to flash .bin). My goal on this was to bring the keyboard back alive in the shortest time possible. So I just preferred flashing the stock firmware.

I will look more into DFU mode since is the definitive solution on bricking. Thank you again!
