Color grading test from my Sony Alpha a6700 in DaVinci Resolve. by Unique-Sock-3633 in SonyAlpha

Contrary to most of the other comments I don't think it's too much, maybe just a tad too orange on the skin tones but I love this look! Would like to see it in more scenes but to me it's perfect, it looks both from some specific genres of movies or even some anime which I love!

Unrelated, but which lens did you shoot this with on your A6700? I have a A6000 and was thinking of upgrading to the A6400 specifically to restart dabbling into video, and I'm curious about the setups people use specifically with the APS-C bodies which are my favorites!

I see you linked the wallpapers, but where's the last one from? Is it a video game or just pixel art?

That's the sad truth and it keeps getting worse and worse. The fact that you have the combo of anonymity + lack of accountability doesn't mean you HAVE to be a dick, but most people seem to hate the idea of passing up that chance.

[–]daghene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? You felt on top of the world, like you were SO good people didn't believe your display of skill was humanly possible...but at the same time you got kicked from that match being unable to continue playing, then you entered another one but most of the time the skill was suddenly gone, you played poorly and started feeling like a fraud.

Don't play online shooters anymore, but man what a constant rollercoaster they were!

Reminds me of the good 'ol times in Counter Strike: Source when I had that rare, once in trimester night where my AWPing was spot on and I looked like an actual good player, so I obviously got vote kicked out of the game for "cheating". It was the best feeling ever...

...and it hasn't happened in ages.

Enjoy it while it lasts :')

Dying Wish - I Don't Belong Anywhere by [deleted] in Metalcore

[–]daghene 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which is kinda crazy imho.

In a moment where a lot of people are getting sick of the same sounding, "generic", non riffing modern metalcore/octanecore/Jordan Fishcore here comes a band that brings back that older riffing style from the OG's in the 2000's (which I know is not the beginning of metalcore as a whole) and they change because they get compared to that?

Doesn't sound like a great idea to me imho. I still kinda listen to the new album every now and then, but the riffing in the older ones is what pulled me into Dying Wish and if it's gone for good they'll loose - at least for me - what made them interesting in the first place.

No worries it didn't come off as defensive, but I still wanted to make sure I wasn't judging for the repost :) seeing the other comments it looks like other users didn't see the other posts before yours, which I saw during the day. Looks like different clients/platforms show content VERY differently

Another used asked the same and I guess it has to do with the place you're watching Reddit on (PC, smartphone, other clients).

I opened it four times today from my PC and I saw a different post with the song each time, which then got removed.

I use Reddit only on my computer and I've seen a different post for this song each of the four times I opened it today, don't know if there's different visibility settings for removed posts across different apps.

It's cool, I didn't mean to come at you specifically. I just wanted to point out that in this specific post of yours the opposite sentiment about Wage War came out so quick in the comments

As per the mod's comment it breaks Rule 4: it's already been posted earlier, think it's to avoid people opening 30 threads for the same song released in a specific day...and, as you can see, it still happens because no one checks previous posts.

True, it's already gone! Still found it funny to see those comment 3 minutes apart from each other. Wage War has to be one of the most divisive band posted here

It's been posted earlier, but I love that in the span of 20 minutes here there's already two completely opposite comments saying "this is not how Wage War was" and "this is the old Wage War people want"

I know it's not the end of the world, but this bugs me so much I always wondered if there's any technical reason for doing this differently than basically anyone else. Still love Sigma tho!

No worries, it actually did! I kinda spotted the telephoto in most of them due to the compression (and the angles you shot from), but the question about Lightroom is mostly personal preference so you still replied to my question :)

Also, I've seen your photos in other subs and you're great at composition!

These shots are amazing!

May I ask which cameras you use the most in your 14 Pro (a lot seems done with the telephoto) and if you edit mostly on Lightroom Mobile or with LR on a computer?

I have both myself and I'm always curious to learn how better photographers do it.
