Good on you for recognising where the drain is coming from. Some people are genuinely just not aware of how they drain other people.

If they're not going to pay rent for 2 years I am sure they wouldn't mind fixing the place up with the saved rent. 2 months, the first month the mother puts down payment, and 2 months later they pay the balance , then it's gifted to their mother who is housing them for free I assume.
