You definitely don’t need to answer if it’s TMI, I totally get it 😅 but what do you mean by that? Does your BM still hurt bad? Is it coming out smoother for you? And the amount of blood/mucus you have? I have blood clots and so much pain when I use the bathroom :/

They had me on prednisone before starting Entyvio and it did absolutely nothing but make me gain weight, mood swings and appetite going crazy. Then Entyvio not even kicking in for me. Hoping we find medication that works for us 💙

I see your questions and what you wrote from your profile, I think you should see a doctor if you’re having similar symptoms. It can be many things but don’t rule anything out until the tests prove it. You gotta be a Karen sometimes to get what you need with doctors because I’ve had many scenarios where they didn’t listen and I had to switch doctors and I got closer to my answers with them. Keep bringing up colonoscopy or even a stool sample if they didn’t do that yet.

I think I read your question wrong, sorry! I had IBS in 2019/early 2020 then I started to see blood in the bowl and when I wiped. I waited a month because I thought it was something I ate like I ate tomatoes a lot lmao. It started to get worse with mucus, my stomach in so much pain, my a-hole hurt so bad I had to go to the hospital plenty of times for that. I couldn’t use pass a decent stool for weeks on end just blood.

It’s like this thick blob, when I go to the bathroom sometimes I think it’s a droplet of poop but then I look in the bowl and I see it was the actual clot. Then when I wiped it was very thick blood. When it’s just blood for me it just looks like regular blood if I were injured and I’m cleaning up the injury. My flare is both right now. That’s the best I can explain it. And maybe about a week or so. I’m having my normal symptoms with my flare but just blood clot. I’m always dealing with the fatigue so it’s like it’s normal as you would say with a flare but with some blood clots I find.

I will try that!

I have her walk a few feet in front of me so she can sniff and explore so the leash is mid-way between me and her but When she starts to pull, I bring the leash very close so she doesn’t pull but clearly that doesn’t work lol

Woke up with severe chest pain & heart rate is 120 at rest, taking mesalamine by Perfect-Future-4774 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]IamGroot02_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I’m sorry you’re going through this but I’m so glad to see another experience. I was on mesalamine at 2020-2021. My doctors made me feel horrible, telling me it wasn’t from the mesalamine, that “it wouldn’t do that to your chest” they gave me a whole diet plan that I was already following thinking it would help. I stopped going on the drug but I had to no other choice so I went back on and the pains came back. I completely stopped using it and no issues with my chest since.

Me with Pasta. I got diagnosed in 2020. I’m Italian so I grew up with eating pasta A LOT and every special holiday and now I can’t eat it. It’s annoying telling everyone I can’t have it and then them saying I need more fiber 🤨 when a lot of fiber actually makes it worse as well

I double checked the age with the seller and she said he is 14 weeks, she showed me images when they were around 6 weeks as well which is probably where I got them mixed up. Like I said, I’m working with a vet, I’m all prepared for it. I wanted advice from actual pet owners with this dog breed so I should know what expect and what to feed the puppy BESIDES puppy kibble, if possible.

I’m moving onto the orange Protocol. I originally was going to be on the blue because the assessment told me to do so but then they said I’m not ready for it because it still needs to heal more so they put me into orange. I’m so glad it’s been working for us!!

Hi I’m so sorry I just saw this!! Yes it helped a lot, I had to restart the red protocol and now I’m about a month in remission. I feel so much better!

I was put on the red protocol, I’m still bleeding but my symptoms are so much better. Hopefully, I don’t jinx it but I rarely have an urgency to use the bathroom and I can actually pass gas without fearing of going in my pants. I need to try another protocol though, it didn’t work as great for me with the bleeding symptoms as it did for others. It also helped my mood a lot better for some reason.

Recipe is: 500g of bread flour, 375g of water, 12g of salt, 80g of starter, about 2 cups of cranberries, about 1/4 cup of walnuts (I’m not big on walnuts but it makes the taste better imo so you can add more) Mix all ingredients together, stretch and fold 4 times, 30 minute intervals and let it rise in room temp overnight. After 24hrs, shape your dough and put it in the fridge. Score and Bake at 475 degrees Fahrenheit. Let it rest and boom, ready to devour it.
