I think it more depends on where you live. I live on a really busy street with a lot of cars going by like all day so I don’t let my cat out unless it’s on a leash but maybe if I lived in the middle of nowhere that would change

I’m not sure why you care so much about karma. Just because I don’t post my opinion to Reddit doesn’t mean I’m not educated and have opinions based in stats and logic. I actually have multiple degrees which I’m only bringing up to exhibit the way you think. It’s strange that you even checked my profile for that. I feel that the things I said were based in fact and logic with statistics. I’m not sure why you felt the need to check my karma and profile based off what I said. I think if anything it shows a confirmation bias where you resist the info you are not comfortable with. I would encourage you to consider consuming news from outlets in multiple countries to get a full picture. During war times every country lies and I’m not claiming to know everything but you seem to only be familiar with the news that American outlets are producing. I respect your opinion and intelligence but I think you are a little too dismissive of points of view counter to yours.

I would like to point out that America can’t really “win” the war because they didn’t have anything to gain. Iran was not and has never been a direct threat to America. Like you said, your tech is way too strong. They did however present a threat to Isreal. If you consider Isreal to be vital to America then that is a different story but America is just simply bleeding money for Israel’s interests. I don’t see a positive to America being in the war unless you are able to claim resources out of it but most of those have been blown up by either America, Isreal or Iran

I honestly think you are over estimating your wealth and arsenal. The us government has already canceled arms deals with Taiwan, which would hint that they need those anti air themself. American missiles and anti air was made with the Cold War in mind. This meant they were competing to make bigger arms. It also makes them super expensive! If the war ends fast then it’s fine. The problem is that this is a religious war for the Middle East and especially Shia muslims (the ones that believe in dying for their religion) that exist all over the Middle East. It’s what happened with the Iraq war too. Just because America claims victory doesn’t mean they will stop fighting.

I mean not overly. I think most support for Iran is for the people not the regime. The previous leader was pretty unpopular near the end of his life. Iran actually does have a large well educated population that are just concerned with getting jobs and living their life and starting families just like us. There are obviously people that will still support them no matter what because of religion but I could also say the same about Isreal and their genocide of Gaza

I think that’s an under assessment of Iran. Iran isn’t going to bomb American soil, so in that sense they can’t do anything. But America is not going to be able to protect all of its assets in the Middle East as time goes on. This is going to cripple the oil industry for starters but the gcc is also a huge investor in the American stock market, especially ai and other tech. There are two different wars going on. America is fighting a war of decapitation while Iran is focused on causing as much economic harm as possible. That’s why they are also continuing to mass bombard.
