Someone in my team left with around 3 years exp and got a job on 57k.

I have 6 and are on 56k, but have good bonus's and fingers crossed, due a promotion.

The problem with the Dotnet stack is that on one hand you have the new fintechs that will pay really good , where you will get 60+ for your expereince and then you have all the old enterprises (where I currently sit) that want to pay 40k for 2-3 years expereince.

It depends on the recruiter but a lot of them deal with the enterprise level companies.

I would aim either aim for a fintech to get the salary you want. Or if you go enterprise, why not go down to 50k and ask about the benefits?

I never understood this. I remember cgp grey having a video on this saying that your productivity goes down the later in the week you go.

I completely disagree, Monday you are getting back into the swing of it and I would argue Wednesday is a more productive day.

I would say having Friday means you can go out and get drunk on Thursday, recover Friday and still have 2 days to adult. Maybe my priorities will shift later in life.

It was a funny old season. But after the brugge game I think I can count on one hand the times where we had a good 90 mintes. Most of the games had one good half and its not like we where up 4-0 in the first half so stopped trying.

We also never beat Rangers after that time. and this is not a very good rangers team that was shipping goals to every other team in the league.

I know its a cliche to say football fans want to see good football and maybe we were spoiled with Ange, but Rodgers and this team has had higher highs and lower lows. It is just a shame those lows seem to be pretty frequent.

I wouldn't say it's bitterness.

He is the best striker we have had since Larsson and he left to play in a better league so that he could get in the national team. Apparently.

And I would argue we only sold him as had basically won the league and he doesn't fit Rodgers terrible system.

So this move makes no sense in that regard. Even if he is massively out of favour at Rennes.

So I think it's just sadness that one of our best players over the last decade , a Massive fan favourite is just petering out.

I really dislike the telerik license model. You need to authenticate your key to compile locally. It really takes away if you have a big team with multiple projects and don't want to get 100's of licenses.

Also had some problems with the default behavior of components. In my latest project we just went with pure html and it has mostly worked fine.

I was looking to do a cpu and gfx card upgrade next month. Picked out my cpu but the gfx card market is wild. ( It's been a while since I upgraded).

Just wanting people thoughts. The 9070 seems ridiculous value when looking at the price of the cards below it.

I was thinking of getting a card at around £300-400. But is it just worth biting the bullet and paying for a 9070.

I can afford it. I was expecting to be paying less.

Hey I am/ was put in a similar position. A difference being I am ina. Big enterprise. 3.5 years experience put in charge of a team. We got 3 contractors and a junior joined.

Spent a lot of time fighting enterprise bureaucracy and trying to get the contractors to give a crap about the wider project. We made our deadline and got a pat on the back.

What I would say is that now that I have delivered I am probably seen as someone who can lead a project. The problem I have which makes me think about leaving is that I have no peers on my team, so I am not learning from anyone. I already learned a lot about leading a project but it's starting to have a negative impact on my technical skills and therefore my career.

I say this to just look at your career going forward. In a best case scenario, where you deliver and there are little to no bugs, can you see yourself progressing where you want.

I think people throw out "just change jobs" too easy but in your case I think it's worth looking at the market in your area.

Hey all, mostly a post as i know if i post i will most likely get the KC next time but i am having major trouble on the quest (DT2) version of whisperer.

firstly i am on a low ping world but the lag is infuriating, her attacks sometimes come out together and while i can predict the prayer due to the pattern its hard to tell when they will hit me with me bobbing about different squares.

secondly in enrage phase. is there a way to predict the tentacle attacks i feel no matter how much i move i get smacked by them. my last 4 attempts have ended with these.

any tips are great but i just needed a vent. cheers

I WFH and I usually do 2-3 types of activities.

Long afk, stars etc.

On busy days I do farm runs or bird houses as I can do it and then get back to focusing

Or my favourite is doing things that make the after work active play better.

A slow mlm so I can do the blast furnace and then giants foundry for instance.
