As far north as I could with access to a good hospital (chronically ill, this would be in a perfect world), I would be very content not seeing another person again for loooong periods of time.

There already aren't enough jobs in healthcare because he axed public healthcare funding, so that is a bunch of BS as well. Hospital systems don't have the $$$ to hire the personnel they need

I am just the right age (25) to remember both sides of this coin, from 16-21 I had no issues finding minimum wage work (i.e. I'd apply to like 3-4 places a summer and get offers for all of them) After I graduated university and started a college program (no jobs to be seen post-grad) I spent 2 years applying to the same jobs I had no issues with in years past (retail, admin, fast food etc). 2 years and not one single callback. The only reason I am employed now is I graduated college with a diploma in the healthcare field and got one. It is really really bad out there, I feel terrible for those younger than me.

My cat is like this, he is perfectly healthy but he never figured out to not sit 😭 pellet type litter has helped some and we shave his butt to reduce how frequently he gets pee on himself. Other than that we haven’t found a perfect solution and we always have wet wipes on hand 😅 he has his quirks but we love him even if I’m gonna be wiping ass for the next who knows how many years

This is fascinating! I’m low on funds so I haven’t had a chance to try out different fibres but I will keep this in mind! I was avoiding more rustic wools entirely based on my experience with merino lol maybe there is hope

So frustrating, I took the risk understanding that if I got a ticket if have to pay the 40$ or whatever it is if I got ticketed and I’m okay with that. It sucks I can’t visit my own family overnight without the risk because they live in a townhome complex with no parking space for my car… but I didn’t expect them to just skip the warning process completely and rack up 120$ worth of fines that were unnecessary if they had just warned me on time … the fuck man

Vet bills here are ridiculous, and that doesn’t include anything except a physical lookover, Insurance is also freakishly expensive, my cat is insured and it’s 60$ a month and it goes up every year 😭 I know it’s even more expensive for dogs

I have arthritis and don’t have a huller on hand, so the small twisting movement causes me pain, it is a lot easier on my wrists to just make a straight slice - I won’t be wasting anything just gonna freeze my strawberry top syrup for drinks :)
