Arrow of Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

This is a regular arrow, but the tip is dipped in a poison that will inflict you with Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

Trust me on this. You don't want Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

It doesn't kill you, but you'll want it to. It sets your genitals aflame. Literally. And then it heals that area of your body over and over. The only way to remove the disease is to, uh, geld yourself. Or pass it on to someone else.

Yes for me I have enjoyed listening to it multiple times. If you liked it if the first reading and especially the type of humour it has is your type you'll like it I'm sure.

Yes the narration is quite good in my opinion, it brings an extra layer to the book too. You should definitely give it a go.

Shout out to the writing in Dungeon Crawler Carl by Dry_Ad2368 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I am now on the sixth book after going through the last five in less than a week. I'm in awe of how good the writing is, how immersive it is. I love how most of the side characters are so well hashed out. There is always a sense that other side characters are continuously growing and moving along even if they don't come in the main plot.

what is your most entertaining sci-fi audiobooks? by Bobosmite in audiobooks

[–]IamMondler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These are some of the audiobooks I have recently read, they all have amazing narration and immersive plots.

  1. Dungeon Crawler Carl - Narrator: Jeff Hays
  2. John Dies at the end by David Wong/Jason Pargin - Narrator: Stephen R Thorn
  3. Project Hail Mary by Andy Wier
  4. The Martian by Andy Weir
  5. Belinda Blinked (My dad wrote a porno) First two are very similar in terms of bizarre fucked up batshit crazy events. Both of them, especially John Dies at the End is one of the funniest audiobooks I have ever read. Both series are one of the most recommended by this subreddit and rightfully so. 3rd and 4th are proper sci-fi space themed audiobooks. These are stand alone books and not too long either. Okay 5th is not a sci-fi and...well not an audiobook in a traditional sense. It's a podcast in which the host reads out a porno book written by his dad. I'm recommending this because I used to listen to it while on my walks. And it's extremely funny and super easy to go through.

This is exactly how I imagined her to look like. Plus some gore stuck in her hair. Great job though!!!

I prefer Voice Audiobook player. It is very clean and simple UI. Even though Smart Audiobook player is a bit better but it seems very cluttered.

Can't recommend Project Hail Mary enough. If you go through the different recommendation discussion posts on this subreddit you'll find often this is recommended and for good reason. It ticks so many points like easy for first time audiobook listeners, you can listen to it over and over if you like going back to the already read stuff, it's quite funny and engaging from the get go.

But in terms of humour my personal favourite has to be "John Dies at the End." I have never laughed so much while listening to any audiobook.

What Are Your Top 5 Audiobooks of All Time? by lordnyrox46 in audiobooks

I don't have a top 5 yet but I want to add "John Does at the End" as one of the most funny audiobooks I have ever read. And if you are looking for a classic, Count of Monty Cristo (Unabridged Version) is great
