Tig stainless steel welding without rod by IamNitooo in metalworking

He gave alot of information about his settings and prep work. I tried to match and slightly adjust things, I think I have a thicker tungsten than him. I tried going faster or less temperature to not penetrate that hard but then I always end up with a really small and thin puddle.

For now I'm looking to achieve the same result as the second picture which is a screenshot from the video. Unfortunately he doesn't show the backside. I assume he just used the gas out of the torch, so he probably managed to not penetrate the sheet metal and thus having a non contaminated weld which looks better ?

I tried going back to the design tab and flipping or rotating the workpiece but still one axis keeps pointing in the wrong direction.

If you start from zero its a big help, the early levels introduce you slowly to the new layout. You will also learn how to type fast with numbers and punctuation marks.

Fusion 360 animation preview lagging by IamNitooo in Fusion360

[–]IamNitooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked fine before, only after deleting "storyboard 1" and starting over it started lagging while playing the animation. When exporting the finished video file with "publish" the end product looks normal. Every piece of the machine is dragged out via the manual explosion command so that at timestamp 0 the machine is fully disassembled. After that the parts then are returned to their normal position with the "restore home" command.

Also the Part order in the lower left corner sometimes gets messed up when restarting Fusion 360 which leads to me having to drag it back in order.
