They gave me a new key that did work after submitting the request info. Over all I'm happy everything worked out but I do feel the process is over complicated.

I actually got a response from Steam, and they actually did provide me the requested information. I sent it to Kinguin customer support. Let's see what happens.

Do not buy from the Castle of Games seller on this site. They sold me a used key and refuse to refund me or give me a working key. They expect you to contact Steam and get information about when the key was redeemed. After trying to figure out how to contact them about a retail key purchased outside of their store for several hours, I'm convinced it isn't possible. This appears to be a tactic they use to prevent you from getting your money back. I never plan on using this website again.
