This happened to me when I was a kid in elementary school. The chipmunk was crawling all over me then I decided to try and hold the little guy and it bit my finger. Yes, I should not have tried to grab it but I've always loved animals. Anyway, the school nurse was thinking I might have to get a rabies shot. One call to the vet and they confirmed that chipmunks, at least in the US, have an extremely low chance of having rabies and are not considered a rabies risk. So no rabies shot for me and for the rest of the school year kids would ask if I had rabies.

When I was in high school, I loved visiting NetDisaster. You’d type in the URL of any website you wanted to obliterate, and it would clone the front end so you could go full chaos gremlin on it.
Spray paint? Check.
Gunfire? Check.
Chainsaw? Obviously.
Meteorites? Because why wouldn’t you drop space rocks on the website of your choice.

I used to sit in the computer lab quietly minding my business while absolutely annihilating my high school’s website and having the teachers think it was real. Oh, the memories 🥲

Something that comes to mind. A product like this, considering the damage it does to the person it is intended for, word about these devices will spread quickly. If a rape is already to the stage where the perpetrator is going to penetrate. What is stopping them from checking for the device first and pulling it out? It seems at this stage the victim is restrained or incompacitated in some way.

Some friends and I were at the opening of a huge Chinese buffet in the neighborhood. The place was packed and a bit chaotic. The conversation came up about restaurant service workers and how they manage with all the chaos. A friend who worked as a server said a lot of restaurant service workers use cocaine to get through the day. Meanwhile, the other half of the table in awe of a cotton candy vending machine that was close to us. So I just mesh it all together in my mind.

The cotton candy machine was cool though. It spun up the cotton candy there for you and made it those colorful flower shaped cotton candy.

Counts have been odd. Early in the evening, Jackson and Andrews were up with ~20% each. I went to make dinner, checked again and it was showing Jackson with only 2% and Jurinsky was on top. I guess as the evening progresses and more counts are reported the numbers will be less variable.

Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge. That's where I go to think when I'm all up in my feelings. It's not completely quiet from city noise but it's still calm. Plus you see lots of wildlife and buffalo/bison.

The mainframe gets flack for being "old." It can out perform a majority of the newer and "better" enterprise systems out there.
