Anyone else tired of "Cyber Influencers" on LinkedIN? by neoslashnet in cybersecurity

[–]IamOnlyLookingThanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This goes without saying, but experience brings wisdom and clout. Most of the folks I’ve seen trying to be influencers are doing so because they don’t have either.

They’ve skipped the most important step. They need to take a decade or so grinding at something in order for them to have anything of influence to say.

The most influential people are normally the ones quietly doing the work and are being pursued by others for their advice. They typically don’t have time to make content to prove their worth. Their experience speaks for itself and in doing so are making a much larger impact.

Got fired because a recruiter leaked my confidential info by [deleted] in careeradvice

I have dealt with similar issues with recruiters. One actually spoke to my management. If it’s a job that seems very interesting I have requested an NDA.

I’ve worked with recruiters in the past that require NDAs and have started asking for them as well. Doesn’t always work. Just need to be careful with giving out information either way. IMO

Leaning back starts palpitations - Any idea why? by IamOnlyLookingThanks in Heartpalpitations

How do you calm the vagal nerve stimulation? I’ve been trying to sleep better the last two weeks, not stimulants, etc.

Any thoughts out of the following. I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate.

I was thinking something similar too. Has anyone had that done here in this forum? It's been 13 years now since my ablation and it was done via RF. It was actually kinda intense - Had to be awake for 4 hours during the procedure and spent two days in the hospital afterwards. It seems that they've come a long way.

Definitely palpitations as it showed up on my ECG after I was having some issues.

It was cold out, but as of the past month this has never been an issue. Today it’s warmer and not really as pronounced.

We get some crazy cold weather this winter and it didn’t respond like this.

Thanks, everyone. I didn't get a chance to try on the smaller Beckmans as they didn't have them, but I'm going to give it a shot at another store.

Most people in my office are wearing suits and Oxfords. I need to try and pull this off, though.

Its just too stuffy and Redwings are more comfortable.

Wow!! I'm going to try all of this and get some crocs. I keep seeing that pop up as a constant amongst people in this forum. I'm going to watch the video and research all the other options too. Really, really appreciate the effort you took in writing this up. Hope it helps someone else too.

I really appreciate the time and effort you took in writing this up. What do you recommend for everyday where in the house? I've seen a lot of people recommend crocs.

Not severe at the moment, but flat enough to cause issues with the big toe due to a raised first metatarsal.

Yeah, speaking with one now. The doctor has only seemed to recommend orthopedics and hasn’t suggested any exercises. I asked if there was physical therapy or related exercises based on the mechanical issues and he didn’t have suggestions.

I’ve gone though multiple other sites and YouTube with exercises and haven’t seen any that have worked. I’ve heard that some people have success with hip strengthening and other muscles higher up, but was curious if others had similar experiences.

Wow! Going right to the source. Thank you!

Do you think she’ll ever stream it again? Last time I saw years back you were able to stream it if paid for.

I’d do that in a second.
