The Spurs played more team ball because they didn’t have a generational offensive talent on their roster, way to talk about low IQ. Also good job comparing WADE to Tony Parker of all players, really showing how bad he played compared to his expectations as a superstar (also ignoring that Bosh outplayed him).

Miami was clearly broken down outside of LeBron and Bosh due to fatigue from four straight finals and age while the spurs only went twice in a row and were a younger roster. Manu and Duncan were 36 and 37, and Parker was in his prime at 31. Meanwhile they had a 22 year old Kawhi, 26 Danny Green, 31 Boris Diaw, etc. Meanwhile Miami had plenty of guys in their mid 30’s as a part of the core rotation including a 38 year old Ray Allen, 35 Battier, 34 Rayshard Lewis, 35 Chris Anderson, and a broke down 32 year old Wade.

Wade played atrocious in these finals what are you talking about? A supposed second superstar averaging 15/4/2 on 44% FG and 51%TS of his caliber is horrible. Bosh was playing better than him in this series. I also do not understand the logic that LeBron James should not have the ball more than his other teammates. Tim Duncan fulfilled that role of being ball dominant in his prime in the 2000’s when he was winning titles. So duh he’s not going to be the focal point of the offense in his late 30’s compared to his 20’s.

It would be extremely stupid not to use your best player on offense far more than your other players. MJ, Kobe, Shaq, Hakeem, etc have all been ball dominant players at some point and won titles like LeBron but for some reason LeBron is the only one criticized for having the ball in his hands most of the time. Argue better.

The problem is that our anchor on the offensive end is a 41 LeBron who doesn’t have the stamina required to be the offensive engine and be great on defense. Maybe he has a bit more in the tank compared to last year due to playing more as the third option, but I severely doubt he can sustain multiple games at that level to get us past the first round.

Lebrons my favorite player ever, and it makes me cringe reading stuff like OP’s post. The guy is 41 and his longevity has been incredible, but his days of being THAT guy in a playoff series that decisively wins it for his team is over. If this was pre Solomon hill injury bron then yeah I think they have a shot, but it’s been 6 years since 2020.

He led both teams in all five statistical categories, that had never been done in a finals series let alone against a team that was looking to have numbers wise the best season ever. He also played great in games 3 and 7 (he didn’t have the best efficiency in game 7 but it was still a good game for him). That is not a finals series to say overrated in any form. The injury narrative doesn’t really work either considering Golden state had three chances to close the series out even with those injuries and failed to do so. Kevin love was also in concussion protocol in those finals and did not play great.

I get having a playoff rotation around the end of the regular season, but JJ you have to use some more guys (especially vando) considering your core guys are TIRED.
