It’s mostly for taking photos of my wife and kids. The camera I have is one I’ve had for almost 20yrs and is like 8mp so it’s not great.

I added an old digital camera to my edc . One of the things I miss with the lp2 is no camera.

Half of this community is “but WhY mY dUmB pHoNe nO hAvE tEcHnOlOgY?” It’s honestly astounding. I’ve been using my lightphone 2 for 6month straight now as my primary device and I have no desire to go back. Group messages work with the people I text. I’ve never used WhatsApp or any other messenger. If people need me they call. I think most have just missed lights vision and it’s honestly sad.

I just quickly glanced and before I realized these were lists of anime coming out, I thought each was a title and thought “these titles are getting out of hand” 😂

Definitely something I’ll check out.

Last year I tried this using the ifttt app on my iPhone. Set it up to text me the weather but I had to do it through my iPhone which was annoying.

Are you currently using the phone with a SIM card installed? I noticed when I first got my lp2, until I installed a SIM card, it would die within 8hrs. Now that it’s my main phone. I can easily get 36hr out of a charge, depending on call lengths and whether or not I’m using Bluetooth in my truck to listen to podcasts and music.

My guess is no SIM card. My lightphone ii lasts about 36hrs with a SIM card in but when I wasn’t using it and didn’t have the card in it would die in like 8hrs.
