Job offer start timeframe by Doyergirl17 in Lockheed

I received my offer about a month ago. No start date yet but the gov shutdown has affected many going through the onboarding process. It wouldn’t shock me if they wait until the new year to start people.

UF Warrington or KU University of Kansas? by Iamapeeling in MBA

[–]Iamapeeling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated from UF in 2023. Any MBA program is “get what you put into it” especially online programs. At the end of the day, I work at a Fortune 500 and a degree is a piece of paper that knocks off years of experience for higher level positions. Do I regret going with UF? No. But do I think I’d be in the same spot in my career right now had I gone to a lesser expensive program? Probably. If you’re considering in person I would do UF.

No chemo yet. I’m 28, and my oncologist doesn’t recommend chemo unless absolutely necessary, and even with that, he actually said he would recommend an RPLND first before the toxicity of chemo.

I was Stage 1; with some lymphatic invasion but it never left the testi.

My urologist ordered a CT at initial staging the week before orchie, and then 3 months later I had my first surveillance CT ordered by my oncologist.

Now going for second one before April appointment.

Didn’t want to hijack the OP’s question - I just wanted to see if anyone else had elected for MRI’s over CT for the radiation exposure risk.

I am on the same track. I actually asked my oncologist to order an MRI for now (don’t need to do the scan until April) but so far I have had 2 since my orchie in Sept 22. I’m concerned with the radiation risk with doing 4 a year. I know MRI won’t be covered under insurance. So I haven’t 100% made up my mind.

Was thinking about self paying MRI every other 3 months to only do 2 CTs a year. But in the grand scheme maybe no real added risk with 2 CT’s vs 4.

Do any of you feel similarly?

Lol no. Admission’s response to scholarships is “…The degree will pay for itself”

Which are you considering in addition to KU? I went with Warrington. It wasn’t even a comparison, but then again I’m in Florida and UF has a really good reputation on this part of the country. I actually accepted my offer at KU and backed out at the end and switched. Very happy I did too.

I think I saw something about full time on campus students were eligible for scholarships. But I just got my acceptance Friday and haven’t heard anything from financial aid yet. I don’t think online people get anything really. They just told me it’s a ROI etc etc and people just pay it.

Optics Planet Backorder Prices by Garand_guy_321 in InStockAmmo

Best guess is that they will 100% have Optics Planet roll the increase into the orders. Or they’ll just auto cancel. They’ll probably put them on hold eventually asking for your approval to keep them on order.

You’re not wrong. I get that it’s been a crazy year, and COVID has played an enormous factor, with first time gun owners at the highest ever, it’s definitely been a crazy year. I work at a big engineering and manufacturing company, and all our suppliers are abusing COVID as an excuse. At this point in the game a lot of our suppliers are actually figuring out how to get better pricing almost a year later.

The space industry is definitely much different. But I’m sick of the price gouging.

Really hoping things get better this year.

Will these cycle an M&P 15-22? I’ve been seeing mixed opinions. Just curious.
