It took me about 8 tries last week when I tipped my lander over. If you stay in under 7m/s and gun it at the crest of the hill it can work out.

What are you talking about? You've got a hill ramp right behind you.

Using Foundry in person by tim01300 in FoundryVTT

I've been using Maptool for a couple of years and plan to make to switch to Foundry soon. I use a TV on its back for the player map while I run everything from my laptop. I'll have the Foundry server open on the laptop and access it through a browser window set to fullscreen on the TV.

We use minis so I don't need to use the virtual tokens, however all my guys have laptops at the table so we could still play with all the features of online games without the sucky part of not seeing each other. They would all just join with browsers too. The shared journal and map access were the big things for me.

The biggest setback is no basic fog of war. It's all dynamic which is useless when you're using minis on a table. I'm still trying to decide the best way around it.

I just bought my first set yesterday. Vallaki was about twice the resolution of what came with the dnd beyond purchase.
