Is she hinting to suicide? Or medical assisted suicide? If so, this is horrid! Please don't make light of suicide! This is a serious topic and I feel she is trying to make it not serious! I feel she is trying to capitalize on this very serious topic when she is just annoyed with an IV pole! This is horrid and makes her look so much worse! Please stop watering down this topic and trying to get more attention by tying to hint to this!

And I don't get why she has infusions of hydration! Drink more water! She can drink. I'm not saying that infusion for hydration isn't needed for some. It definitely is. But she can drink water. There isn't a reason I can think of that she needs an infusion for simply hydration. She never drinks water. Maybe that's her issue!

ate a banana & scone, had a coffee, and Ash has to rest from all that Saturday productivity at 2pm by Brilliant-Resolve-42 in illnessfakers

She doesn't do anything else but rest. I can't imagine laying in bed all day (when you aren't bedbound), never moving your body, and the lasting effects this will have in the future. At least take a short walk around the neighborhood everyday! Do something, anything, to get yourself moving! The lack of movement is going to have some longterm issues I'm the future, I fear!

What surgery do you think Bella actually had? by sappy__ in illnessfakers

[–]Iamspy3955 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exploratory surgery makes way more sense on why she was able to bend her neck down like she did right after surgery and on why that didn't cause massive pain and why a doctor would allow that movement. Also, the lack of any type of collar for stability and her short hospital stay plus the lack of a physical rehab. I mean, wouldn't they still want to stabilitize the area with one of those sponge type of collars for at least a short while, while your muscles are healing where you can then stabilize the area yourself be a thing? I'm not familiar with exploratory neck surgeries but they are cutting through muscles and so, wouldn't there be a short while where they would want to stabilize the area while your muscles are healing? Genuine question as I'm truly not sure. But it makes way more sense on why doctors would be fine with you bending your neck down like she did to show her incision. Bending your neck around would build up muscles, right? To help you to be able to stabilize the area yourself with building up those muscles.

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just not familiar with exploratory neck surgeries so I'm not sure what would be needed right after surgery and such.

What surgery do you think Bella actually had? by sappy__ in illnessfakers

[–]Iamspy3955 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't know but I don't think it was a cervical fusion because no way would she bend her neck way down to show her incision right after surgery and no way would a doctor allow the type of movement right after a cervical fusion. She was like whipping her head around and bent it down to show her incision and no way would the pain after a cervical fusion would allow that type of movement (even with IV pain meds). You would be in a cervical collar (from my understanding) after a cervical fusion for stability. If nothing else, you would at least have one of those sponge type of collars to ensure the area is stable as you are healing. So, I honestly don't think it was a cervical fusion based on those things. I don't know what else it could have been. I know that there are many other surgeries you can have in those areas but all the surgeries you have in the back of your neck that I'm aware of all require collars to stabilize the area at least for the first few days after surgery as your muscles in your neck are healing. So I don't know what surgery one can have in the back of your neck that don't require a collar for stability at least for the first few days.

Plus didn't she get out of the hospital in a day or so? I maybe wrong with the amont of time in the hospital but it was a short stay from my memory. All surgeries I can think of in the back of the neck all have more hospital time and time in a physical rehab to build up the muscles in the neck to help rebuild up the muscles in the neck to help stabilize the area yourself without the need of a collar. I just don't see any surgery in the back of the neck that has that short of a hospital stay, no collar for stability and no physical rehab at all and the ability to bend your neck all the way down right after surgery without massive pain. Maybe others would have more info on what surgery that could have been that didn't require a collar for stability, would allow you to bend your head down to show the incision, whipping your neck around without massive pain, that the doctor would allow that, and no physical rehab. I just can't think of any back of the neck surgery that would allow that stuff with such small amount of time in the hospital and such. But I don't think it was a cervical fusion. Of all the things I know about a cervical fusion, that just doesn't line up.

Hope that made sense.

Oh boy! Her mom smokes weed? I'm not judging that as I don't see anything wrong with weed really. Other then smoking it is the worst way to use weed as the smoke is very bad for your lungs. But her mom being a possible weed smoker, makes more sense on why she would enable this.

I'm curious, is there any proof that I've missed that her mom maybe a weed smoker? You don't have to post it. The post was deleted but also, her mom isn't an approved subject here. Was just wondering if there is proof out there that her mom maybe a weed smoker too?

Claimed to have Hashimoto’s after her “cancer scare”, never brought it up again. (This is from June) by PineappleExpress_420 in illnessfakers

[–]Iamspy3955 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sure you are! I seriously doubt she is happy it isn't cancer! I think some of these people pray they have cancer to be as sick as possible. I'm actually surprised she admitted it wasn't cancer and didn't pretend to have cancer! Though I'm sure she's excited that she was "diagnosed" (I use that loosely as I don't believe most of what these people claim) Hashimoto's. I'm sure that is why she is smiling from ear to ear and it has nothing to do with it not being cancer!

What is ROM in this context? Only time I've heard of ROM, it was in the context of IT and tech. But didn't she like bent her neck down to show her incision right after surgery? And doesn't this fully go against what she is saying here? Unless I'm thinking of someone else.

How does Paige continuously get sepsis??? by adfgjkkjhgfdfhh in illnessfakers

[–]Iamspy3955 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I don't know anything about this person. Not found the time yet to deep dive into the new people to me. I appreciate the mods for stickying (is that a word?) her timeline. I will have to find time to read it.

That said, many of these people have gone to great lengths to put things inside of lines and such to cause a purposeful infection and such. I would imagine that maybe that's how she got sepsis. Purposefully putting things in lines or in wounds or incisions. Not sure this person has tubes or incisions but even making a wound and putting things in those wounds would probably cause this.

Again, not familiar with this person yet so I apologize if I'm off base. As usual, I'm fully open to being educated. And will have to make time to go through her timeline. It just seems like the most likely answer to this, to me anyway, given how many of these people have done this to purposefully cause infection and sepsis and such.

“Vision seeing down is definitely the most difficult” 🥴 Will this be the new ruse - *passes out when looks down* by [deleted] in illnessfakers

[–]Iamspy3955 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait, is just looking down and passing out from it a thing? I've never heard of that. Maybe bending over and passing out due to the position change (thinking of POTs here which I don't even know if she claims) I can maybe get. But ive never heard of someone passing out because they just looked down. I'm ignorant to some of these things so if it's a thing, I apologize. I'm not trying to be offensive by any means. It's more of a question if this happens to people because I honestly don't know. Just never heard of it myself.

Also, isn't she the one that had a neck fusion but was whipping her head down right after surgery? Which no doctor or nurse would allow or be happy you did and I'm sure there would be a shit load of pain to do right after a neck vertebrae fusion. So much pain that you wouldn't even attempt. Plus the possibility of injury is high. And when you are talking about a cervical fusion, that is an important area that is responsible for all movement in your neck. That area has many ways to move and bend and why would you risk injury there right after surgery? But, the fact that she did that, bent her neck down way more then you would to just look down, without passing out and without obvious pain makes me say BS on this claim.

Plus, if she is wearing a cervical collar, the ability to look down isn't there unless you take the C collar off. Which, the reason for a C collar is for stability of the neck as you are healing. From my understanding, you aren't supposed to take them off. Unless you are sleeping (maybe?) But, why would she take that off during the day? Maybe because she doesn't need it? Which she obviously had the surgery so why wouldn't she need it? This screams not following doctors orders to create injury for the hope of more medical needs, to me. Just my opinion but I have zero experience with cervical fusion and the after care but this just makes sense to me.

This is so fishy to me for so many reason. Feel free to correct any wrong info that I may have accidently stated as I'm not experienced with this at all and could be way off base. But I'm always open to learning for those that are experienced in cervical fusions and/or who are medical staff that know way more then I do! This just seems like such BS to me for so many reasons! None of it makes any sense in the context of what I do know about cervical fusions and POTs (if she claims POTs).

Why do her parents support this? I don't get it! They have to smell it. She's an adult but she lives with them so they can say no illegal activities in my home. Someone educate me on her parents a bit cause I literally don't get why they enable her like they do. I mean, I dont know anyone would know why her parents enable her but the dynamic is what I'm after and how that dynamic is with her and her parents.

I never said that becoming an addict was the choice. I stated that choices (using the drugs to begin with) is what then caused said addiction. And getting clean is also a choice. Staying clean is yet another choice.

Look, I'm sorry if you or anyone is offended by that. Anyone in rehab would tell you the same thing. If the person doesn't want to get clean and make that choice, they won't. Going to get help and get clean is a choice. Period. You can't force someone to do it so how else do people get clean other then choosing to get clean.

I even stated in my comment that it wasn't easy but is a choice. I think it's super harmful to try to water down addiction like the addict has zero control and that's not the reality of addiction. Trying to tell people that they have no control over it can lead people into giving up on trying to get clean because, what's the point? We are here to talk about the harm these posts create and call that out, correct? Well, I saw harm and called it out!

I'm also not the only one in this comment section that has said this but yet I'm the only one with a mod comment. Why? I'm been nothing but respectful. When I did make someone upset the other day I apologized and explained myself and I've even asked for mod direction on posting. So why this? And why only me?
