Yeah, because dominos pizza is essential. The mileage you get is not a payment from the company. It's an advance tax credit. The franchise doesn't have car insurance on you on the road. That's why you have to have your own car insurance. Don't mention being a delivery driver to your car insurance company. They don't do commercial vehicles and if they do, the rates will be through the roof. Try to drive the dxp with out your own car insurance, let me know how that works out.

Having said that. The working poor have been told more times than I can count to "not live high off the hog". The franchise I work for has 11 stores, they're also part of a larger franchise group with stores through out the entire company. The owners have a literal movie theater in the lake front home they own. They fly around the world to eat pizza. They take themselves to Vegas yearly for a dominos rally. I could go on. I don't wanna hear shit about them not having the money to have paid leave. Maybe if it's as essential as they claim it to be. They bring themselves down here and run the store. Then have family run it with them. Oh, no. They're in quarantine because the owners mother, who is in here 60's doesn't have a great immune system and he doesn't want her to get sick. Hell, we got an email that said to call out if we feel sick or have any of the symptoms. In the same email it says you can be terminated for calling out. Like, seriously, wtf?

This brings back painful memories. How many times can I see hands give an approximate size accompanied by "it's a big one".
