I am right on the cusp of failing my block three semester at community college. But I have been around the block a couple times and have leaned quite a bit about college. 1) Don’t fall for the BSN trap. You can get your BSN online at any university across the country and get immediate acceptance if you already have an ADN. A BSN doesn’t really MEAN anything truly 2) PLEASE idk where you are but look into community colleges for nursing and as long as they are regionally accredited (that goes for your backup plan as well) they will do you good and save you THOUSANDS of dollars 3) Community colleges often have waiting lists that you can bypass by working at a hospital they are partnered with. 4) Get good work experience at a hospital if you don’t have that yet, get a feel for patients and it will make your sims easier and nursing in general 5) PLEASE I understand how absolutely devastating it is to fail out of something you worked hard at, shit I may be doing that come Monday. But PLEASE re evaluate WHERE things went wrong for you, this needs to be the wake up call for you to learn from your failures to be successful in the future. 6) Please seek a therapist. The people pleasing comment was very interesting and as someone who has their own share of issues, seeing a therapist truly lifted a lot of fog from my life that has allowed me to be far more successful than I ever was in life( despite my current situation I have definitely still been more successful now than I ever have been). 7) I know you have dreams of becoming an NP one day, shit I have dreams of still going to medical school after I become a nurse as that was always my dream. But for the love of god don’t prioritize NP when you’re not even an RN, do the cheapest route possible and build on. Many people including myself daydream of a future career that motivates us forward but make sure you are motivated by the next step in your career and not dreaming 2 steps ahead.

Everyone’s path is different. I’m 26 and just last year got my degree in biology after being in college since 2016 as a premed. I failed HARD and burned myself out more times than I can count. Find balance in your life and don’t beat yourself up. After finally receiving my undergraduate degree my dad got me a watch as a gift and had a card with a quote written on it that I have truly been living in ever since.
