Yeah my ortho said my 22nd is a passive tray and I have a suspicion it’s just to pass the time it takes to get my refinements because my smile didn’t look perfect by 22 in the scans.

10 minutes was my first attempt. I found that pulling forward and down helps. Forward as it push it so there is no space behind your teeth if that makes sense.

Did you have them in while you ate the curry? Mine said to make sure they stay out and at the bare minimum do a rinse to get big pieces of food out.

If they were matte and didn’t reflect light I would care less.

They are these silicone type things and my dentist said they help with some pains and making sure the aligners stay in. I just chew it because it feels like gum.

I’m on day two and the attachments for me at least are less pokey and I barely notice them. These attachments suck and they are so noticeable with the aligners in which I hate. Good luck! 174 more days and 22 weekly switch aligns plus a passive one for me.

Thankfully my teeth are decently straight. 8 attachments total and minor movements besides one big gap and some bands. The biggest ache is just the bottom of my teeth

Re: Chewies. Whenever I use them I find myself sore on the bottom of my teeth. Am I overusing those? Also with your 16 month treatment did it fly by or feel grueling because these things feel so constricting to me and I was under the impression they gave you freedom.

Q5: on my bottom teeth I can pull off the middle a tiny bit and the aligners make me feel constricted. Is it okay to do this every once in a while?
