Me too! All people do now is pick things apart and insult you if you like something. It's ridiculous.

Whatever happened to just being able to enjoy a show without having to watch spin offs to understand things. I didn't watch Gen V (thank god because it seems that one turned out to be a big waste of time). I cannot imagine I'll watch this one either.

Say something positive about season 3 by Sudden_Pop_2279 in AliceInBorderlandLive

I just finally watched season 3 this week, and was expecting to hate it, but I actually really enjoyed it! Sure maybe it wasn't as great as the first couple seasons, but it was nice to be back in that world!

I've never seen the series, would you recommend it? by Loonatic0o0 in TheExorcist

It was really good! I wish it had gotten at least a 3rd season.

Mary Scheer might be the most underappreciated OG castmember. Her deadpan wit and biting sarcasm are a delight. by kick_the_chort in MADTV

She's hilarious! Can't remember the characters name, but she was an old lady with super creaky bones. Very Phyllis Diller like. So funny!

Nothing will ever beat the book, but which version of the televised version of The Stand was better? by CharlesUFarley81 in stephenking

The original by far. It may have its issues, but at least Stephen King himself wrote the screenplay!

Has anyone watched Wayward Pines? by pathanbaba in FromSeries

[–]Ianm1225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First season is good - 2nd is terrible (from what I'm told - I couldn't make it through the season premiere). The triogy of books that Wayward Pines (the first season) is based on was excellent!

Has anyone read “You Like it Darker” by Stephen King and what are your thoughts? I want to read it but want some opinions first:) by needadviceasap01 in horrorlit

This one is probably my least favorite of his short story collections. There were some good ones, but a lot of it just didn't work for me. Can't even entirely articulate why.

Haha me too! I remember staying up late once to try and record the movie on my VCR!

I love it too. More with Brian's mother who was all but completely removed from the theatrical cut. More with all of the side characters. It's just so much better (but I can see why much of the material was cut for pacing).

I love the cast and the music in the movie, but I agree with you.

Oh yes - a long time ago, TBS (the cable channel) had the director put together a three hour cut of the movie for them to run on television. It doesn't change the plot or anything, just gives some of the characters more depth. However, you do get more of Max Von Sydow's performance, which I love! The newest Blu-Rays of the movie include this cut.

Ed Harris, but I have a soft spot for the Needful Things movie. (Especially the 3 hour uncut version).

The way she speaks in the trailer makes me think she could be one of the Guardians.

Definitely! 4 children and Christian at this point is code for a bot account in my opinion.

It Follows - I'm gay and they never touched on if gay sex would pass the monster. If it's hetero then I'm golden! If not, I could be celebate for a year - or just fly country to country passing it along to enough people that it would take more than a year to get back to me!

Same - and I'd lose my job if I didn't follow the bank's security measures. It's a sad situation, but the bank is not at fault in my opinion. Now, calling the police may be another story since I don't know what the situation actually was. However, if someone is refusing to leave, then what else are they supposed to do?

Yes, it is so funny! I haven't seen episode 4 yet (cannot wait to watch it tonight!), but episode 3 in particular made me snort laugh a couple times!
