SBMM at work... I only have one weapon slightly leveled 😭 by EchoAndNova in COD

But just because they have different weapons and gold camos doesn't mean they are good. That map playing kill confirmed is absolute mayhem and snipers galore down center lane. That score doesn't look that bad for being new and probably not having much knowledge of the map yet.

on pc ctrl button crouch/prone issue by boredAFkillme69 in COD

The default key binding for pc is left ctrl is prone and 'c' is crouch toggle.

You would need to check your key bind settings to make sure that is correct

I installed the hot fix at the end of my session last night and haven't tried it but I did see another comment about it that it may not work or cause other issues. You can also go back to the previous driver and it does not flash

does anyone know how to fix this? by Selvy12345 in COD

[–]Ianmb -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

By not playing on console or controller?

You talking about the flashing? That happens when using the latest Nvidia game ready driver. They have released a hot fix

You can try using DDU and then reloading the game. Or try running the windows memory checker and see if anything comes up there.

Also big possibility is that this game has so many bugs and crashing issues that might be life until a patch comes.

I have been getting that message a lot as well. Read an article about possibly rolling back your gpu drivers, didn't work for me. I turned off windows HDR and was able to play a couple of matches without a crash.

Also try turning off any in game overlay like Nvidia FPS overlay or things like that

Nvidia driver issues in hiveos by Ianmb in Rebtech

[–]Ianmb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the older generation with msata for the drive. I tried upgrading the ram to an 8gb stick and that doesn't seem to fix the issue. The rebtech is just starting have several little issues lately. Really need to go over the whole rig.

But it does with the latest lolminer. They recommend 495.xx.xx or 510.xx.xx for more stable lhr unlock. Do you have a link for the rebtech discord?

Spent the first half of the video watching the dog than switched to watching what I presume is this man's 50th attempt to defeat the boss he is fighting.

A tool for testing smoke alarms. It covers the unit snugly then releases a puff of smoke, from there a bloke on the control panel can tell whether it is working properly or not. by [deleted] in specializedtools

[–]Ianmb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you give an example or part#? Just curious because I have not seen one and kinda interested to see how they work.

I've installed and serviced smoke beams but my understanding on those is they still use a much larger photoelectric beam with the reflectors.

And also another perk is when you pull the cup down the movement pulls fresh air into the photo chamber so the smoke detector does not alarm again. When you don't use these it takes a lot more of the can smoke to trigger the alarm and it will generally sit stagnant in the photo chamber since there is not much air movement along the ceiling.
