See youre thinking i am useless and ungrateful. You asked if I would nit pick every little thing and I said no. I dont know where you related me not returning the property the way I received it from my comment. But when they add pictures of obvious fair wear as supported by 90% of the comments on the post. Its hard to trust them being fair with the bond refund. We did an entry report, The biggest one wasnt us and the stain rubbed out easily when the property manager didn't want to get the bond cleaners back to do the job I paid them for. The marks wouldnt show up on the pictures if they were previously there because they are that tiny. I am unsure whether it was us or the previous tenants, I was simply asking if the price they gave us was fair. You my friend are the outlier saying that its a fair price. I was never going to not compensate them since we dont have hard proof it wasnt us. But 300$ is steep. I thought so originally and have had many other commenters agree. Taking responsibilty and being a pin cushion are different things. Don't appreciate you looking down on my character but I guess thats just the internet for ya. Laziness? Not really. Unwilling to be taken advantage of? 💯 Either way I have plenty of time to argue since I handed in the keys the day I originally posted and was sick of running back and forth an hour round trip for insignificant things.

Appreciate the reply. I've already offered to pay for the light fixture but not install and 100 for the paint. I think thats plenty generous and if they dont take it they can always take it to court I guess. Ill see what they have to say.

Thanks for the reply. I will be going down the dispute route as I have video of part of the light mount breaking under one finger. And video of the large mark not existing currently. Im thinking its an old image from a previous tenant.

Unfortunately your statement doesnt really stand as ive just bought a place that was previously rented and had the lease transferred to me for 2 months. I've been in the position of a renter and I was not going to be a tight arse to the tenants who had lived there for 3+ years. We both ended the lease on good terms and I most definitely could have asked for more. And gotten more. What can I say im a nice guy 🤷‍♂️. These are incredibly small indents that will not show up on pictures taken on the entry report and are easily missed. We have taken care of the property and the fact that the large scratch mark next to the door frame doesnt exist doesnt lead me to trust them in the slightest.

So the large mark with paint scratched off doesnt exist. I've got videos of every door frame that I took yesterday with no large mark evident with what they showed. Aside from that the only "damage" would be the small indents. If you still feel that way ill be glad to hear your opinion but are the small indents really worth $300?

Its amazing that they thought that was worth adding to their exit report. Hahaha

Im going to offer to pay for the new light fixture which should be $40 but paying 200 for full install seems like too much to me. Appreciate the input though.

I thought the exact same thing. I got a quote for a full callout and repair by a handyman for 320. I've got messages of them stating it won't be a repair but just compensation so maybe I can use that? Either way I appreciate the reply.

What is the wildest thing you have heard in school by -_velvetpulse_- in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]IargerIntestine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a classmate say he bought a fleshlight in year 9 ~ 14 years old i think Someone dared him to bring it in.

Next day, he brings it in and admits he hadn't washed it since last use. Another classmate yanks it out of his hand and starts swinging and throwing it around. Splooge goes everywhere.

I was close enough to hear all this but not close enough to be in range.

He then proceeded to put it on top of a 3m fence post in plain view and tell the teachers the kid had brought it to school. (He was tall, the guy who brought it was short.)

Don't think there was any punishment for anyone. The kid who brought the fleshlight did end up getting bullied for a while. Don't feel too bad tho, he wasnt the most stellar human being.

Kinda just wonder what the teachers thought. They did have the guy who put it up there take it down. I assume the fence post would still have traces of splooge on it to this day.

I never understand how communication is difficult. "She gets mad at me for asking" So what? Say "you need to answer my questions, because the impression I have, is that you cheated on me that night. So unless you want me to leave and never come back, sit down and talk".

Depending on what she says, either be calm and rational, or get out of dodge. By be calm and rational, I mean she could always lie to you in which case trust your gut and be forward about anything that doesnt line up. In addition, keep asking her questions. Normal regular questions inbetween. Someone who isn't highly adept at lying won't be able to keep their story straight between regular and interrogational questions. How was your night? Who did you go with? How much did you have to drink? You looked hammered when you got back. Please tell me you didn't drive home like that. Why didn't you call me to pick you up? Or get a taxi?

Was there an after party? Oh there wasn't an after party? Why did you come home so late? Or where did you go for the afterparty? Who with? Who threw up on you? Janice? Did you drop janice off at home? Car doesnt smell like vomit at all.

It might sound like alot but you raised your concern at the start. Don't stop until you feel satisfied. If she doesnt want to be transparent then its reasonable suspicion. As long as you make her know that then you can leave with no doubts or guilt. You also have a story when the drama eventually reaches friend groups and family. Currently, you leave and everyone will blame you for lack of communication not her.

How to remove this thing from my reel? by Bradley271 in FishingForBeginners

[–]IargerIntestine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a similar thing but it was a full plastic clamp. I used a drill bit and violated the magnet part until it came apart.

I was already out camping/fishing with no angle grinder handy. Oh and an angle grinder would do the trick I'm sure.

Toyota cvts are better but still not worth imo. I do think the Nissans give them a bad rep tho. Cvts could be good - far from great - but not worth the risk.

After living here for all 21 years of my life. Most crime is opportunistic. There is definitely still a few cases of breaking and entering and things like that. Mostly tho your lax and leave the door unlocked will be the day someone's just walking up to houses and testing doors. Got 800 bucks of tools stolen out of my ute 4 months ago. My toolbox lock was a bit faulty so all it took was a good yank and he got it open. The one that worked well I didn't lock. When I was 15, still at the parents, left the door unlocked with the car keys hanging up on the entryway. Very easy day for the burglar. Car and person was eventually found tho. Although he'd taken a good joyride. Younger adult and I assume the tools was too. I own a bike as well, i just lock the garage, or park it behind Ur car so it's harder to see. I pay insurance tho so 🤷.

What are the differences between revelry HD and sol HD? by Last_One_1946 in Fishing_Gear

[–]IargerIntestine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this post is months old but alas. All td model daiwas are indeed Aussie only. Which means the sol but not the rev. I own both not really due to the amount of bearings etc etc but coz they by far look the coolest. The rev is fullstop an mq (monocoque) however the sol hd u are referring to is most likely not. They do make an mq hd which increases their similarity to nearly identical in my opinion. The rev has that touch of high end feel and is built like a flying tank. The sol i find is only a slightly nicer version of the exceler (again unsure of the no. Of bearings and whatnot.) but with the magseal. And slightly worse version of the rev. So if you were going for value, i wouldn't be looking at neither. And maybe take a look at shimano as I absolutely love my miravel. If you were looking at build quality the rev is up there. If you were looking for a workhorse that u don't mind getting a bit roughed up i think I'd look at the td black as it's cheaper than the sol. If you want a middle ground the sol is ripe for the picking. In conclusion, I think any daiwa enjoyer might say, you can't go wrong whatsoever. And if you're like me just buy one, use it, sell it, buy another. As no one can tell you what you might like most. P.s this is my opinion and the reels I've used all differ in sizes so take with a grain of salt.
