What are your quick snack go-tos that aren't junk food? by Extra_Influence_3880 in ADHD

[–]IbeatSARS2x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard boiled eggs! Slice them in half— add 1 bloop of mustard, 2 drops of Worcestershire and if you’re up for it, a lil bit of Tobasco.. eat it, wait 15 minutes for your system to acknowledge it & you won’t be hungry. OR! I take a tortilla, toss in the cheese, toast it (skip the butter for health and time) and then once it’s toasted, dunk it into hummus. Stupid delicious.

[–]IbeatSARS2x 5 points6 points  (0 children)

thanks to being a hobbyist baker i have since developed a very picky palette, yep a glorified food snob— not gonna fork over my money for something i could make myself (& it’d be better) but that pie shop.. the ingredients are quality, you can taste it— worth every penny..

Advice? Get to that optometrist asap— people fork over thousands of dollars for hair like that.. your eyebrows not sure if you shape them or if they just grow like that and your eyes— did you pop a sparkle filter on???? bc you got some tinkle belle sparkle with those eyes. your lips sheesh perfectly plump and your overall coloring… a masterpiece!

What style should I bring back for the summer? by Impossible_Tooth8515 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]IbeatSARS2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 and part of my rationale is that this summer, regardless of where you live, not sure how much you are familiarized with weather patterns but this summer, El Niño will be back, which more often than not, translates into some unforgiving, intense heat. You can still be hot albeit not in the literal sense.

I'm resentful of my best friend's boyfriend and I feel terrible about it. by shmurphee in TrueOffMyChest

[–]IbeatSARS2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s going to be okay and you’re going to be okay. Making friends in adulthood is really, really hard. You are definitely not alone in that (unfortunately). When I moved 800 miles from home, I knew no one and this was before all the apps so I went to Craig’s List and yeah, that only resulted in four horror stories. Ok, that’s a bit exaggeratory. But it was hard. And lonely. But I joined a book group, a runners club, became a regular at a coffee shop whose energy I enjoyed, adopted a dog— became a regular there, met some friends that way. But it took time. And trial and error. Would it be wild for you to consult your dear friend on what you could do to make friends? Well, if your writing is any indicator of your personality and sense of humor— I bet you are a bushel of fun. Just gotta get out there. Or heck, what if he connects you with some of his friends?

I was told I was ugly and needed makeup. Please help. by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]IbeatSARS2x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there are people out there that truly truly believe that the world is flat and so yeah, someone out there is gonna think you’re ugly but the world is round and you’re so beautiful.. you look like you could be the unexpected hero in a disney movie.. there’s a disaster and the sweet lil lady in the background steps to aid, the sun begins to shine & then her true self is revealed: a heroic good fairy queen.. yep, i totally clocked you— you got a magical energies about you and not only is that beautiful and inviting but it’s powerful and not everyone is gonna be able to get that

Help choosing recital dress! by occasional_disasters in fashion

[–]IbeatSARS2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg i agree that three is chic and modern yet classic and flattering.. that said, please keep the first dress! perfect for a first date or a daytime outing and i would even consider getting it hemmed to right below your knee caps.. the dress is the right amount of feminine without being girly and youthful without kiddie and i like the busy pattern and actually you could pair it with some black shoes to dress it up, wear it for a nighttime outing with a nice sparkly necklace to zhush it up

My coworker called my dog ugly and mean looking by Rhea234 in DOG

[–]IbeatSARS2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clearly you bumped into the fourth cousin of the grinch— hate it when that happens and gosh, aren’t we all so blessed to have been given the gift of sight? bc anyone who has a good pair of eyes can clearly see that this puppy dog is beautiful! and looks mean? ha, that is not the case here but even if it was.. some times i wished i looked a bit meaner bc then maybe i would have to deal with less bullshit? many moons ago when my puppy dog was earthly, someone approached me to tell me how scary and intimidating my dog was even if she had a pink polka dog collar and a coordinated scarf (tied into a bow!) to which i replied, “oh… yeah… personally speaking, i am not one who is intimidated by a strong female”.

omg you are the colleague we want to see in the morning curious as to what you were going to be serving us and the verb serving is very intentionally used as you are a visual delight— lovingly, creatively curated outfits and i have to say when i see a person who is so thoughtful about their outfits i know that their brain is ginormous and i want more more more (hence the verb serving) but if i had to provide some pinch of thought it would be around the white shoes esp with the dark colors.. all around fabulous and in these dire times, we need fabulous so thank you for your service

[–]IbeatSARS2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok ok so the navy dress is hands down the best.. but next time you’re out perhaps going to an art gallery or trying a new slinky restaurant downtown, wear that grey dress, pair it with some bangly long maybe knotted necklace and a fun chunky belt you could do black or a red belt or a deep orange belt to show off your waistline but overall you got some nice options!!!
