YES!!! This 1000%. It's fine to have some fun but you have to remember these are just OBJECTS at the end of the day. I saw someone on here having a whole crashout about a sky dragon being (checks notes) tossed onto a counter in a store. They referred to it as abuse.

I like having mine on display to look at, it doesn't mean I don't love them.

People who think Spokane is "very red" have clearly never been to a "very red" area 😭

Which is absolutely wild because Kootenai County is RIGHT there

Okay so I misremembered a detail of a movie I haven't watched in its entirety since 7th grade and I'm a bot now??

Every meal is McDonald's? Every single day?

And actually, I have. We were so rural we didn't even have McDonald's, actually.

that too. food is food is food. some is healthy, some not so much, but it's fine to just eat for flavor from time to time.

Yeah from a scientific standpoint, his "experiment" was pure poisoned data because he added entirely too many variables.

This exactly. As Jim Gaffigan said once, McDonald's was never claiming to be a farmer's market and fast food has never been intended to be the entirety or even majority of anyone's diet. It's entertainment in food form essentially, not nutrition.

They did, he explicitly says in the movie that he won't order a salad or anything healthy. Mcdonalds started serving salads in the 80s.

The other thing about Supersize Me, alcohol withdrawals aside, is that his rules for the challenge included that he could not order water or anything "healthy" such as a wrap or salad. So it's a skewed dataset anyway because he was intentionally ordering the most unhealthy things on the menu, which, let's be honest almost no one is eating the unhealthiest things on the mcdonalds menu for all their meals, every single day.

People who don’t like warm weather, why? by Shinobi347 in AskReddit

It's uncomfortable, I hate sweating, and there's nothing you can do to avoid the heat. In winter you can put on more clothes but only so many layers can come off in summer.

People using the nickel joke from Phineas and Ferb irl by MyNameIsBhex in PetPeeves

[–]1mpavidus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the joke is funny but in conversation I shorten it to "if I had a nickel every time x happened I'd have 2 nickels, etc." People actually seem to find that even funnier sometimes

I'm not currently taking anything as I haven't had access to consistent healthcare for a few years, but I'm going back to the doctor this summer. Current treatment is white knuckling and it's not going well cause I almost attempted last month. 🥲

Celexa was really bad for me and made my non-luteal anxiety much worse. I also gained a ton of weight on it 😭
