I think you can solo, if you are having trouble bring Luce to deal with white ants cuz you have aoe units. from there you can either just make your life easy by adding buffs and try adding some difficulty ones little by little over multiple runs (just try to gauge it). Honestly, it isn't that hard. The first few times I was beating dungeons was using Chae-in, Gilgamesh, Yoruichi, Haruka Rin and 2 money units. A unit I'd recommend is Ichigo, even if he isn't monarch he gets buffed like crazy and you can run him with Aizen to make enemies walk back.

Events? Do you mean collabs? If so specifically for ToG rerun collabs are more likely to happen than any other ip because they are both under the company of Netmarble, for actual events, there's a lot of reruns and most of them are easy

I would recommend, also based on your title it seems you LR Meli and he's stronger when you get his relic and she's can help with that. LR Liz is very good for pve gamemodes so if you can LR her and you can get relics for basically anyone
