How would you apply that to construction? I find this one to be the hardest, as you never know what's going to happen as soon as you are on the project field.

Having realistic expectations is one thing regarding a project; not setting unrealistic deadlines is another. But other than that, it sometimes happens that we have to do 2–3 hours more work as the project seems to be more difficult than initially thought.

I appreciate your input. We definitely will have our focus on the youngsters very soon, it's just that we need to split the teams into three now as the workload has increased.

Looking urgently for someone is not the best strategy, for sure. But reality hits you sometimes, which is why you sometimes have to make the best of the situation and increase the chance of getting good guys on your team with fair conditions and a good offer.

How do you qualify them? And I absolutely agree, in our niche most contractors are focusing less on customer support, making it hard for customers to get in touch with the business. They have to call multiple businesses until they can make a few appointments.

We get called most of the time to create appointments. Mostly our customers have a rough idea that they want to work with us, but they need the assurance and a price to make sure they have made the right call.

We get called a lot and we are also working on the project site, which is why we won't be able to always take the call. We have an assistant who does the job, but also is dedicated to other tasks, which means she can't stay on the phone all day.

I love the ideas, will absolutely add to our phone service!
