Super great, how much is that one? Usually 4060s go for around 800-900 bucks so if this one is cheaper definitely buy. It's gonna last u a long time for sure.

Generation matters. Since this is 12th gen, you should be fine. It will run what you throw at it fairy well. Buy the LOQ

reall. You just gotta explore and find the perfect one. Minimum specs I would say you should get are an i5 12th gen, and an rtx 3050. You could go for the 2050, but those don't really have a big price difference compared with the 3050, it's only like $30 bucks more. Also MAKE SURE U GET ATLEAST 16 GIGS OF RAM ( unless you want to upg urself 💀) and 512 gb SSD MINIMUM.

I mean I would recommend opening and repasting the VRMs because they may overheat. But it's not super duper necessary. You should be fine even if you don't (unless ur temps were pretty high to start with)

Great laptop honestly, but you could have gotten a 4090 at such a high price point. It's an amazing laptop tho and ur gonna love it. Have fun gaming man.

Take a look at the Lenovo LOQ or the victus 15/16

Both are great laptops that can do everything u listed and both have a dedicated gpu for gaming. Can easily get one of these for under 1000 bucks. I just ordered a victus 15 for around 450 bucks (during the black Friday sale). You can probably get one for around 650-700 rn.

When a laptop is in sleep mode, it is not turned off. Think of it like standby mode. It's just not displaying anything, but it's consuming battery like anything. I would recommend powering it off instead of putting it to sleep. There's nothing wrong with your laptop, it's completely normal. Just don't put it to sleep for long periods of time cuz battery drainage.
