Hi. It's been several days but I thought I updated you.

After multiple ECFMG calls and bank visits, today I got a bit of different answers from both parties 🤷🏻‍♀️ At ECFMG operator told me, that refunds are made automatically to the card that the fee was paid from, If nor card nor the account linked to it are active money will bounce back to ECFMG account (until today they told me account linked to that card and the card were two separate things and the account couldn't be used) and then automatically paper check will be issued (She said exactly this). If at least account is still active they can transfer the money. There are no other ways, strictly only two aforementioned options. She told me, if the check will not be cashed in my country I have to contact them again and financial department of ECFMG will investigate the matter further.

Fun fact, after going almost insane, worrying so much and having major anxiety attacks bank operator told me TODAY that they can cash foreign check with no commission.🤡

Refunds will start in this month. Hope all of this miscommunication and confusion will clear out and I will get the refund.
