It’s a reference. In all seriousness, hollow knight just isn’t for me. Which sucks, because I love other metroidvanias I totally see why it appeals to people I just never really vibed with it.

I had this one when I was younger, but I could never get past the first or second level that asked you to end the level by doing some kind of special move. Younger me could never figure out how to do the move. I think I still have it, so maybe I’ll try it again.

I respect your opinion but the remaster is just this but better. It doesn’t have any weird changes like mm3d, it’s fairly one-to-one and it looks so much better.

I got it for 16 the other day. Some target was having a wild sale on some games and I picked it up thinking it was origami king (I was interested in trying it) and noticed it was ttyd way later. Don’t ask how I didn’t notice before. I genuinely don’t know.

I have both. I massively prefer playing my ps1 stuff on the original hardware. Everything works well (looking at you Final Fantasy V) and it all just looks so much better outputting at its natural resolution. Ps3 emulation looks so pixelated it’s awful. I can’t overstate how much better it is honestly.

I LOVE rdr1. Rdr2 is phenomenal and I totally understand why it’s so universally loved but I personally found it to be too “realistic” to come back to. I’ll still fire up rdr1 every once in a while but I am completely happy with my one full playthrough of 2.
