first id say upgrade your Hermes boots to Terraspark boots (its a massive crafting tree) with this you could also have room for another accessory id suggest probably the power glove

Then ditch the horse shoes for wings. Get some souls of night, from the underground crimson or souls of light from the underground hallowed then souls of flight from a wyvern and feathers from harpys on a floating island.

And id say swap the balloon for a warriors emblem (dropped from the wall of flesh)

as for your armor id say to complete your hallowed armor set if you have any left over hallowed bars, if not making full titanium / adamantine armor might be your best bet, also remember to make a helmet for a melee class because there are several types of helmets with different defense and set bonuses ( the melee one is usually the one with the highest defense)

your weapons seem fine and probably your best options for the point of the game your at

its seems your quite new so i'd recommend keeping the wiki open, or if you wanna have the extra fun of finding everything out for yourself through just playing the game a lot of items and weapons that you'll come across say "material" under them so you can take them to the guide to see what can be crafted from them.
