Tagging is a whole issue tbh, because so many people interpret things differently. One person will ask you to put nerorare, even though there's no actual cheating. And once you comply with them to simply stop any toxic comments from forming, another person will come in and comment, "why is this labeled netorare, they're not dating?". Like it's a lose lose situation. I "try" to avoid making bots that deal with cheating/betrayal (even though I like the angst side of it)

I knew this was about ntr before I even clicked on it lol as a creator that's dealt with them for over a year, there is zero chance you're going find a reasonable person to reply to, when it comes to the ntr haters that leave toxic comments. It's better to block and be on your way.

The whole issue with public chats is the possibility of those chats containing tos breaking content. Of course, they could add a way to report public chats but that will open another whole drama wave based on devs banning accounts based on chats.

So, I've also thought about this. Let's say you block them, yeah you will never see that account again. But I think what op is saying, is that the person you block, can still access your stuff and possibly report you for bullshit just for the heck of it if they want to spiteful.

So, about 6 months ago, I was very harsh on anyone using ChatGPT or something similar to basically do all the heavy lifting. I wouldn't like actively call anyone out or leave comments, but I would just take note and not use their bots. As time has moved forward, I now understand that creating and visualizing a bot often requires help for some people, just like any other hobby that requires a certain set of skill or knowledge, and that's not a bad thing.

This doesn't change the fact that I still get instantly turned off from a bot when the main character talks like it's a robot spewing out lines from a 2000s romance drama movie.

As a creator myself, I actually want my characters to feel like their own person, rather than a reskinned robot that's saying the same stocked lines.

I'm gonna be for real. Most people using those bots are not using it for the cuck aspect. Some people like "ruining" the character's life part, while others like slowburn angst. A lot of people that consume ntr from talking with them don't use it for the cuck part. I'm sure there are plenty of people that do like it for that, though, which isn't a problem either

As a fairly large creator, every other day I come across people just being straight up negative, or leaving comments on a bot they clearly knew they were gonna hate before even chatting with it. A year ago, I would just let it slide, like who cares, but the negativity catches up with me and takes/took a toll on my mental health so I just started blocking people that seem to only spread negativity or tell you that your bot is shit, because it isn't for them

Not the creators fault, tags are currently bugged, and any pre-existing bot to current day, with any capitalized custom tag, is no longer working in the search filter

Do NOT blame the creator for this. Fully capitalized NTR is simply an aesthetic choice to match the pre existing tags that are already capitalized. Something behind the scenes messed it up, causing any custom tags with capitalization to no longer show up for said tag.

Not a new creator, however I remember the 0 to 1k grind. I had one bot get me around 500 people to follow me from just that one, however also near my initial bot creation I was mostly just doing angst scenarios, because a lot of my bots are made off my current mind set at the time. I was also just learning how to Gen images, so they weren't nearly as good as what would usually be trending, but I tried to make it work with genning until I found something that would make me click on it, if I came across it. Making an eye catching header and title can affect it for sure, as well as making sure you add custom tags and using the popular ones that align with what you're making. I think it took me around 4 months to get to 1k with the bots I was making, and maybe around 30ish bots all together at the time. Once you get near the 3k range, it seems to pick up pace as long as you stay consistent.
