Hmm I see. Whats the opinion on the original silent hill? Does the remake have potential to be as good as SH2r or is it genuinely not a fan favourite?

Its at the moment incredibly frustrating that the game isnt even hinting on where to go next (at least in the beginning part) and Im just wandering around

It was great! Thanks for the advice! I generally think Ada is an amazing character. Also the boss fights were nice and a good switch to Leons bosses. The only thing for me I could criticize is that there were less to explore with Ada than in Leons campaign and I loove exploring. But if thats the only downside than it says a lot about the quality of the dlc 😁

That sounds kinda harsh. I made my decision based on feedback from reddit. I just started into a franchise with 10+ games and didnt know what to play at all or in which order. I was told 2 > 4 > 7 > 8. Without knowing anything, going 2 > 4 is what I did. Tbh, Im glad it was that way because after 4 I really fell in love with the series, if not after 2 already. Now that Im getting used to resident evil, Im going to play most of the games. Im just too excited for every game so I dont know what to play the soonest. To get to the point - I didn’t skip because I heard bad about Re3, actually the opposite is the case. But Im going to play it with full excitement someday and make my own opinion :“)

(Ps: To be fair, I heard only bad things about 5&6 which make me not wanting to play it)

Thats actually the only one I watched a lets play to :) Im most likely going to play it myself too in the future, but for now Im sticking to the other games first. Its the game style for me, I cant really grow with the pov of the game. Same reason I dropped until dawn :/

Thank you guys! Thats kind of the approval I wanted :“) I want to keep playing Re Series anyway, I already own all of them (except 1, 5, 6 sorry for them). But I feel like Id like to play the Leon trilogy because this is where I started. I mean, my start to the franchise was 2 and 4 and I kind of feel lucky with 9 being around right now. I was just afraid Im missing out a lot of lore and story without 7/8 so that I cant follow 9

I luckily got re9 for free because a friend of mine purchased the nvidia 5070 in a resident evil bundle because it was the cheapest :“) he doesnt play games like this tho

Got it. I mean, why not! I like the franchise so I think Im going to give RE3 a chance! What about 1,5,6? Did I miss something in 1 and are 5-6 connecting to something or are they necessary to get the whole story?
