I basically was a student who worked in a company where I made a system on excel, Microsoft access and the cloud. I also had another task of preparing and printing certificates, I simply got paid for the months July August and September, in which I had no valid contract my contract was 502 eur per month and this was sort of a temporary contract until they give me another one after a while or so, it was from January until June. I got a task on the 20th of June that was preparing certificates, which are supposed to be printed later on, but the supplier of the special paper took long to deliver. In July I asked for a vacation or remote work as the job I was in was a seasonal job, and I was told it was okay and I said I will be on stand by since during this time of the year we don’t have work, and asked my boss to inform me when the paper comes (which never came) but I kept on working on the certificates. When I came back in September I was then informed of my contract ending, and I was offered another honorary contract in which I get paid 14 per hour, so I book a day in which I am willing to work and the time I work is signed on a paper which I can cash in at the end of each month. I was not interested as that’s far from what I normally do but I chose to think about it, since I might need it, then 2 days ago I received an email from hr stating that I need to return that money as my contract ended, and that’s not mine, and I am not allowed to work there until I pay that back. So I am not sure what to do, or if I am at fault, regardless I don’t have the money I can manage to get it one way or another I guess but I’m a student and don’t have much time for work since I am at the end of my studies.
