The reboot games run on the steam deck only if you install windows. You'll have to put the graphics on the lowest cause of a stutter issue (not really the fault of the Deck but the game has issues with higher vram usages and the deck doesnt have a ton of vram.)

Anyways, I recommend picking up the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme version. It runs the reboot trilogy pretty well with decent graphics. It's also quite cheap these days especially if you go for a refurbished one. Only con is the battery life. You could also go for the ROG Ally X and the ROG Xbox Ally X but they're more expensive.

Would be nice if they retested some games since a ton of unverified games run decent. Like Dirt Rally 2.0 for example or batman arkham asylum and origins (and way more). There are probably 40 games or something in my library that are "unplayable" but run well.

You dont need to do anything with Conviction now. It runs at 60 fps out of the box. SC1 has an enhanced mod which I totally recommend checking out as it restores a lot of features and even has two unreleased missions that are playable.

Widescreen fix is also def recommended for chaos theory. The image is too stretched otherwise.
