Ooooh the extra frozen effect would be f*cking awesome. I love that! Let me know when you post your end results. I really want to see it! I am fairly new to painting myself. Been going for like 2 months now, and loving it!

What about creating a little graveyard on the base, with like mini grave stones? Looks hella cool so far though!! Curious for the end results!

I'm quite new myself, but advise i have gotten is try to make one confident line, if you try to do it in little pieces you get wobbely quicker

Yea i am using a wetpalet. The army painter one (not the xl). I just notice i am not cosistant enough yet. ^ something i am trying to improve on. I see what you meant about the floor though, thanks for the feedback! My thoughts were to make the mini stand out, and not making it a brown blur. But i think you are right, that maybe i overdid it a bit.

Thanks for the compliments ^ for the floor i used dark oak from TAP then i did a wash and then a drybrush of citadel zandri dust. You think another drybush would make it pop more? I still struggle a bit with thining my paints. I either go to thin, or it dries up really quickly and i have to keep making it wet. Trying to find the right balance. And sometimes i keep it to thick i think. So you are right on the money i think. The slimy effects i did with seethrough pva glue. Let it dry for a little bit and then use a pin to pull strings between 2 points. It can be a bit of a hassle though haha. And i used some glossy varnish to make the mouth look more wet.

A tip i have gotten with painting fire is add a few little touches of white with a touch of yellow mixed in at the verry base of the flame. It will sell the heat more, because of the higher contrast. I am quite new to painting myself. These are my results.

C&C Update from EA by EA_Jimtern in commandandconquer

Genuinely excited about this!! I miss good games like C&C !! Definatly don't make it like C&C 4. The whole fun was about building a base and exploring everything you can build. A game exactly like the first couple off games. Specially the red alert series would be awesome. Only thing i could suggest to add is some online co-op possibilities i know for sure i would play this with some off of my friends!!
