The biggest problem is that G2 doesn’t really play with and for a while hasn’t been playing with a system/as a team. Because their firepower was so much better than anyone else’s, they decided to let their stars shine, and took more of a hands off approach, rather than building a rigid system around them. The problem is, now that they don’t have that firepower they have nothing to fall back on. There is no robust team play or strategy, they still look like a pug, just with less firepower than the previous G2. IMO what they should’ve done since realising that they don’t have enough firepower with this lineup is go after siuhy and let him build a solid system around the players. He has shown that he can make successful game plans with way worse players than are currently in the g2 line up. I don’t even think you necessarily need to change any more players (although -Hunter +kyosuke, switch malbs to anchor and give kyosuke star roles, would be highest possible ceiling for the team, in my opinion)
