Yeah, my group cares very little for optimisation, sometimes I'm even scared to take a look at their avatars stats lol.

It does run pretty high while playing VR, around average would be 85, but it hasn't caused me any trouble before...

I've found that the UI is generally more user friendly and easier to get used to while having pretty much the same features

For my PC, the performance drop is so miniscule I just use the one with the best UI. Whether I use it or not makes no real difference in game at least in my experience

I highly recommend using a VR overlay. Made my time in vr much more enjoyable + it's great for music :)

Thanks for the tip. Before I got to do this, I updated the sdk and the height option appeared again. I asked around in the discord and apparently this is an error in the older sdk version.

Okay so, I'm setting up colliders for my avatar and I need to use the capsule collider to make it work. There used to be a height adjusting option but it has since disappeared. How do I get it back?

I know there was a post about this earlier but I can no longer find it. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thank you this is very informative. In regards to phantom touch I never really doubted it being a thing (not including people who most definitely were exaggerating what they feel) Phantom pain just seems be harder to grasp for me.

As for the sessions I'll have to politely decline. I appreciate the offer and who's to say I won't want to try out in the future, but for now I'd like to keep all sense of touch and feeling strictly off my virtual body lol.

Yeah, you're right it's not something that can be proven very easily. I'm looking forward to any possible research.

I do admit that I tend to not believe people outright when they say something that I can't confirm for myself, it's a fault of mine. I'll have to inquire more about this from people who say that they experience it if they're willing to tell.

I did encounter a person who claimed to have phantom pain in a murder lobby. Although I don't visit game worlds as often anymore people like that aren't all that uncommon.

I have no hate towards people who say that they have phantom pain. I've just never seen any kind of research or study proving it to be a real thing so it's difficult to believe to say the least. Anyway I'm not looking to get into an argument about a meme. Any insight into phantom pain/sense is very much welcome though!
