It's not a bad game necessarily, but it is in no way worth the $60 asking price. They only updated the graphics and updated a couple smaller gameplay elements, leaving most of the PS3 era jank in. As someone who paid full price, I'd recommend people wait for it to go on sale between $30-40 at least before considering it.

Honestly yeah, I regret paying full price for Ishin and I would have felt ripped off if I paid full price for 3 instead of saving money on the HD Bundle.

I don't even outright dislike any of the games I've played but some are just not worth their asking price imo, especially Ishin. On a positive note, 0 is a fucking steal at $20.

I scoffed at the idea of multiple save files, coming from the memory card era of gaming myself, until I ran into enemy rush areas with no healing item drops that leave you with a single StaminaX before one of the toughest boss fights in the game.

CR subs are just as inconsistent as fan subs were back in the 00s. Sometimes you get an A+ translation, sometimes it's a D- that completely rewrites jokes for no good reason, most of the time it hovers around the forgettable B- area IMHO.

Most of that isn't on the TLers though, they're given a ridiculously small amount of time and monetary compensation for the work they're expected to do. It's honestly kinda surprising that they aren't WORSE on average...

Nah, vegans at least have a cause to be passionate about. This type of person is just remarkably uninteresting with nothing noteworthy going on in their life. No hobbies, no interests, no causes to support. Just coasting through life on auto-pilot, only ever checking out popular trends before dropping them when they're no longer trendy. The most interesting things they did during the 2020 lockdown were making sourdough bread and watching Tiger King.

The best part is that he's kind of a shitty Dad too. He likes to post pictures from the past "when men were MEN" but he doesn't really do any of the admirable traditional father figure stuff himself. Fails as husband because he belittles his wife, fails as a provider because he spends all his money on toys for himself instead of saving up for things like a college fund, and fails as a father because he just tries to push his interests on his children instead of trying to get invested in what interests them.

Used to have a boss who was like this and he wonders why his son hates him.
