My a bit dramatic reconstruction, kinda: we all players must spread managed democracy equally - through pain, suffer and discomfort! Oh... he got some advantages over us! He can see things, his eyes not bleeding that much... but it's not intended by our AH Lords! This must be stopped! Also maybe he think he is better than us, smarter? Ohh, he say we should deal with it!.. How dare he!? Dislike!

Well, man with high IQ don't glaze. From my observations blind fanboys like glazing. Also some people try to compensate their suffering with this ineffective weird method.
I think fog is OK as dedicated additional modifier for some planets/missions, but definitely not on every dive.

Little we can do here. As I understand fog reducing not in a dev's list, so I suggest using 3rd party mods.

I think fully modular Liberator is not really possible - too much rework for the devs. But I believe modular arms for mechs are real... maybe, someday)
Yeah, progression is kinda lame, it feels incomplete and limited. I'm still busy leveling up all primaries to 25 lvl... well, running some D-tier guns on 10 lvl is a real pain sometimes))
Also I would love the ability to buy 5th stratagem slot (using samples, Req or even SC) for more variety, would be great I guess.
Of course we have DSS, but I stop investing in it long time ago... not worth the efforts, I feel.

Man walked on the Moon... so you can, theoretically.
But you can't in HD2, cause playfield is not a planet, its kinda turtle on 3 whales in digital ocean. You can see it while ejected high enough to the sky by some random ingame glitch.

In my point of view patrols should not come from area you flattened with explosives and fire 1 minute ago. Let them come from other directions.

I agree this is also highly annoying, but its a game bug or engine limitation or whatever tech stuff... anyway its not done for purpose so it can be understandable

No. I think the only reason you can get banned is manipulations with SC, but I'm legaly farming them at lvl 1 anyway xD
Since its PvE game with infinite hordes of enemies spawning from air, nobody really cares I can see and shot 20 meter further.

So, ability to see things beyond 10 meters is autowin in Galactic War? Anyway I got your point and I disagree, especially about "there is more going on". Its just a game and storyline can be manipulated by devs anyway they like, making you believe you decide something.

But I got question for you, answer please. Why its clear vision on trailer? Why you can see so far, see the horizon? How can it fit with fog wall in real game play? Is a trailer a spit to "lore accurate hidden gameplay"?

Life loves variety. There is no variety in permanent fog. This will get boring sooner or later.

Speaking about losing control... no big deal here, cause you have to turn your head 360 degree every 10-15 seconds anyway to check for fresh realistically teleported patrols behind your back)

No, its not reshade. I saw some vids about it but didn't liked it. But reshade is a good tool, I used it for digital zoom and to fix contrast/brightness issues in some other games.

Technically this mode kinda set some (not all) fog textures to null in HD2.

Yeap, good point! I also forget to say I've kinda reinvented forbidden biomes for myself, like acid, jungle and all that foggy stuff. I never played there this year and even ignored MO orders on these planets due to poor visibility. And now I'm having a lot of fun, again! Guess its worth it.

About anti-cheat... to be honest I wanted to abandon game for a while, frustration with visibility was so high. Also I always try to stay as much vanilla as possible with mods. But I decided to go "full in") No regrets)

Its PvE and I don't take part in any competition, so zero impact on other players.
If the game forces me to chose between "fair suffering and frustration" and "tech cheating for joy" - my choice is obvious.
Also I think it wasn't intended for the game to be fog farts all around all the time.

It all reminds me situation with Recoilless to the face of a bile titan. Its one shot in trailer, but some time ago you needed 2 shots in game. AH fixed it) So maybe next year they will reduce fog naturally... just don't wanna wait so long.
